If you are referring to when the hairspring was re fitted the roller sits in a hole just large enough to allow it to pass.

There is a stake with a cut out for the jewel, he didn't show it or mention it. Otherwise... great video.

Would love to one day have the skill to be able to do this - a job well done ! Thanks for sharing. Need to get a pile of old watches to practice on and a decent staking set. Any recommendations on staking sets for a hobbyist please ?

Have a look on Ebay for a used staking set, doesn't have to be perfect condition or even fully complete. As long as you have a basic set you can do more work than you'd think :)
