I've noticed over the years that only the people who are true professionals and confident in their abilities are able to publicly admit when things go wrong and demonstrate how to fix them. My respect for a guy at work sky-rocketed after he did a similar thing. Kudos.

Always check every blade. I had one of my Pipefitters lose an eye, after one exploded, broke through his face shield and safety glasses. That's something that you ain't gonna forget.

I would imagine it would be. Youd probably want something more substantial than a grinder though. Sds, hammer drill etc. Commercial electrician speaking, so thats a grain of salt.

Jeff love the videos from a fellow Canadian. One thing though I really cringed when you were grinding without the guard on. From personal experience had a work acquaintance die from having a grinding blade break off an hit him in his femoral artery. He bled out before he could get help. Hey Jeff, the other day I had to change out my garbage disposal unit because the old one had sprung a slow leak (it was 12 years old). Overall it was a simple process, but I would have probably called a plumber to do the work for me in the time before I found your channel and watched your plumbing videos. Hey Jeff! Love the channel, I watch them everyday and have learned so much. I currently have a 40amp sub panel and need to accommodate an extra 60amps in it. In the 40amp sub panel there is a 15 amp and a 30amp. What size breaker do I need in the main?

I put in a black granite bathroom counter and got similar crack. Put glue on crack and pushed together. Cannot see crack at all.

If you crack your concrete counter top like this, you throw it out, and you restart. Look into GFRC mix and don’t let this happen again. There is a solution out there that would prevent this.

both are great. return on investment depends on the house's ability to get the value of custom work. not every area can support a custom shower. but if you diy it then it always returns on investment. Cheers!

@@HomeRenoVisionDIY That's not being a troll. It's basic common sense to at least have one of the required safeties in place. It's also common knowledge that these grinders pose a severe risk even with the guard and safety glasses. you have ZERO protection. I got one misplaced shard from a drill in an angle that was not to be expected with a wire brush. I'm fine, but I wear my glasses now.

So, you're outdoors, minimum six feet from the camera guy, with noone else around. No real need for a Covid mask for that. Dust will be your only real concern there.
