I don't know how good the pros are, but my PVC joints aren't always perfect. Especially in a place where I don't have enough room to really get in there and squeeze the fittings together or where I cannot give them a twist. I'll admit that I've had a couple leaks.
I also have a fix! If you have a tiny drip from a fitting when you do your pressure test or water test watch this video for a really simple way to fix your leak using a vacuum.
Basically fit all the test balls to seal off the system but instead of pumping it up full of air (if you use water you'll need to plug the vent too) then hook a shop vac up to an open fitting and apply suction to the entire system. Then all you have to do is spread PVC glue on the leaky fitting and it will suck the glue into the joint. Make sure to turn off the suction quickly so it doesn't suck the glue straight through. If you still have a small leak apply more glue till the leak is sealed.
