Great point, I forgot to cover that! I have 2 inline filters and a fuel screen before the carb. They were clean but I have replaced them when the tank was empty and cleaned out the Carb. Thankx for pointing that out should have mentioned it in the video.

Adventures With Nimby no worries bro. Also, since you ride in winter, you should be running synthetic oil 👍

@@Viper6-MotoVlogger Yes in winter I run a synthetic Lucas blend. Its cheep ish seems to work well enough in cold and not give me clutch problems. In the summer I'll run whatever bike oil and change it out.

I would have put a bottle of gas line antifreeze in the tank as well before opening the drain on the carb. It helps on melting the ice. Had a '78 Honda that the carb would freeze up all the time. It was the best to have a bottle of it with me all the time.

You know I have Like 6 bottles in my shed and this never crossed my mind. I Normaly mix in 1/100 to 1/75 yamalube 2 stroke oil. Which has a number of additives to help with Freezing. But not on this fill up. The oil also helps cool and lube the top end and help with rust ect. Baring that I'll also add the Red gas treatment from Briggs and Stratton. It seems to help alot. The bike hates ethanol fuel. But ya It never crossed my mind to add just good old tank antifreeze in the winter.

@@AdventuresWithNimby It would definitely help in a pinch. I'll run 87 octane in the car for the commute to work....91+ in my old pickup when I am using to tow my 5th wheel. 91+ all the time in my bikes, even the lawn mower gets premium lol. Leave the mower all winter long berried in a snow bank, and it will still start in the spring, first couple of pulls....no winter stabilizer added. Ethanol fuel is stupid, they never should have thought it was a good idea. Now to watch the video I couldn't watch on my phone. Have a great weekend.
