I did this just as you showed, even took a paper towel and cleaned down in the valve area of the release valve, thinking debris might be sitting on it, as gravity has a tendency to do. It revealed sand in the bowl where the water flowed it back, and sand on the paper towel. I hooked up everything and it was works like normal again. Thank you for the help. Debris was in the aerorater. I unscrewed it from the faucet by hand. I tapped the aerorater and a chunk of debris fell out. I put back together and water pressure is like new. . No tools or cost was needed. Praise God!!!❤️

This video helped me solve the issue! I went to Home Depot and they told me I needed a new cartridge for the hot water side of the faucet as it was just trickling. I tried that and it did not work. Then I watched this video and I did would you instructed by running the cold water and then a whole bunch of debris shot out of the hot water hose into a container and that did the trick! Thank you!

Yo, sick sht. The faucet in the restroom had low water pressure from both the hot and cold sides. Removed the aerator and replaced it with a known good one from the faucet in the other restroom. Lo and behold, the aerator was clogged. Attempted to unclog it with some air pressure from a dust can to no avail. Just bought a new aerator from Home Depot for under $5. Problem solved! Luckily, it wasn't more of a fix than that. Thanks for the great video with excellent explanation and information. 👍🏽

I finally got fed up with it and decided I was gonna see if I could fix it. I spent just a few minutes before finding your video. I was able to play and pause as I went and VOILA water pressure. Now my sink is stronger than his. Thank you so much for empowering me to take care of my own stuff and not wasting money on plumber to fix what took my like 10 minutes. Thanks again!

This has helped so much! I know it was done two years ago, but I was dumbfounded as to what to do! I am renting the house but it will save money if I don’t need them to come out. Shall see if it works. Lol kitchen sink is the only issue with pressure. Doesn’t help it’s hard water so there’s a lot of build up I’m guessing. Recently divorced and now learning to do it all myself. 😂 Thank you kindly for this video! I’ll come back and update if it worked. 😊

OMG, thank you soon much!!! I just bought the Moen Renza faucet. This one is almost identical to the Banbury model. Mine is 1.5 gpm water flow as well. I did the two minute faucet fix, and it was like having a completely upgraded faucet! I also found some Teflon pipe thread paste that had made its way to the 3 hole reducer and clogged it. This is why I don't like the water reducers. I thought I was going to have to take this faucet back and get a different one, but I won't have to now. Thank you! I think Moen and Delta are the best faucets!

Thank you for the video; this helps a lot; I do have a question. Is it possible to change out my kitchen sink that is 40 + years lold with out cutting the power to the Water? Or will I need to just cut the plastic pieces that is more than likely welled itself to the hose? If so which products would you recommend forCutting the PBC pipe and replacing it with a different head?
@FixItFrench
Ай бұрын
@@Bigbopperairguns 40 years is pretty old, but you still should be able to find some valves somewhere that will turn the water off for the sink. You can buy some cheap pvc cutters at a local hardware store and they will do the trick. If it’s that old, I would just replace all the pipe under the sink when I put I new faucet in. This is the hat I would do if I were you: 1. New Faucet 2. New drain pipes 3. New hot and cold line 4. Add some good turn off valves to both the hot and cold lines
