The rear window washer on my 2005 BMW X3 started to leak when I turned it on. It would drip on the inside of my vehicle and very little windshield wiper fluid would come out of the sprayer nozzle.
In this video, I first describe what I did to prevent accidental activation of the rear washer. Then I show you how to fix the problem that is most common when this leak occurs. In this case, the fluid hose disconnected at the connection near the sprayer. The sprayer nozzle can get dirty and cause the pressure inside the hose to become too great. This can cause the connection to separate inside of the rear door. It is easy to repair once you know how to do it.
