Such a shame Pat is leaving. I’ve always loved his analytical and realistic opinions in an industry where people can often get carried away. His content, especially during the pandemic (and along with all the Football Daily team) got me and others through a really difficult time. All the best for the future Pat.

Pat was someone who yes, had his own outlandish takes, but is almost the gate keeper of what is said on FD. Very knowledgeable person who genuinely wasn’t biased towards Arsenal despite his love for them. His fair and equal opinions towards football are something FD will truly truly miss.

Interesting options, some really good shouts from everyone. RE the RW who can play upfront, can’t believe no one mentioned Bryan Mbeumo. Quality player, only 24 and is the type of signing you wanted to make. If not him, no one mentioned Pedro Neto or Tafekuso Kubo. I’d even be cheeky and try and sign Noni Madueke from Chelsea.

As a United fan nothing hurts more than seeing Caicedo and Haaland be one of the best players last season when we decided to not spend less than 8m combined for both after being far into the process of getting deals done (Haaland was at Molde under Ole at thentime)

I’m gonna miss Pat just completely destroying players when he says stuff like “actually, he’s crap” lol. One of the most unbiased fellas in the group I think most of the time and I really loved his insight and whenever I see him in a video I’m excited. The fact that much budget was available at RM and no one said just pay anything for Neto (I don't want him to leave wolves but he would be an incredible signing) he is single handedly making wolves a real threat in transition so could definitely do it at Man I and hits all the marks Pat was looking for, Neto also offers you LM cover of you want Rashford up top

me personally i agree with Pat of some of the signings but in the striker position i would've gone for Ivan Toney, i feel like if i need a striker i need a PL certified striker, RW i would've definitely gone for a player like Mitouma, ManUtd need to start poaching the best players from lower teams in the PL
