It's funny how simple chronic joint and muscle pain can be to relieve...and how difficult it is to find help when most doctors are incentivized to sell pills rather than address the cause.

The thing is, there are so many different causes for pain and pain really doesn't tell you what exactly is hurting and why (except for maybe burning and radiating pain that are clear indicators for nerve pain). Thinking of what it could be and trying out all the different assessments and functional tests to eventually find that it's most likely pelvic ring instability isn't on a lot of doctors and PTs minds. Especially uncommon injuries/problems are often overlooked and not brought into consideration.

This is so funny, because I was just going through all your “low back problems” shorts a short while ago. I was trying to figure out what your advice would be for someone who has pain with those EXACT exercises that she has issues with! I came to the conclusion that you did in this video and so I have already been doing those stabilizing movements for a couple of days now. My pain has improved tremendously!

The fix for 90% of stuff, apparently: sideways planks. Because our core muscle suck, usually. I love how this channel drills down into the details, and how often it turns out to be a common thing causing all sorts of weird symptoms.

I use this exact protocol before any lifting and it's keeping my chronic SI pain and instability to manageable levels. I can't seem to get it to resolve completely, but I'm also pushing 40 so that may be it.

Wow. I recently have been having some back weakness. I figured it was because I've been out of the gym due to work. (Been real busy) My back has been feeling weak and hurts with certain movements. I squeezed my hips and bent over and it actually helped. Crazy. Definitely going to try these workouts to help strengthen my back.

Thanks you guys❤ Also not engaging obliques on left side... I have felt like half a suspension bridge for awhile and couldn't remember anything other than one day I could fire them in middle school 😂

Most trainers will not have a clue as to what is really needed. Look into the McGill protocol, then find chiropractor, PT or well trained trainer who follow McGill protocol. MD push pills, others want to do the exercises they learned at last seminar. Dr. Bailey DC retired good luck your comment touched me, good luck.
