Nice tips. Hadn't thought about the wide angle lens. One recommendation I would make to add a little more punch to your video would be to overcut some actual indoor flying footage that you shot into various places in the video, sort of like you did during the demonstration of the downward sensors over the island. If you had added a comparison shot of the normal lens view vs the wide angle lens view of the same room for example, it would give the video and your tips that much more impact.

the obstacle avoidance sensor on the bottom IS off, it’s the visual positioning sensor that is on, this sensor is crucial because it keeps the drone in its place but it also has plays a role in landing, which is why it moves up when near a surface.

hi, two things about your vid, first you do not change to cine mode through the gain and expo settings. they are to set how the drone reacts to the control sticks in the three different speed modes, you change to cine mode through the button slider between the control sticks. second, because the wide angle lens is heavy especially with a added nd filter, its best to add the actual nd filter once the drone is switched on and done its pre-flight start up otherwise the camera is to heavy for the gimble start up and you will get a gimble error

Same thing happened to me. I was recording inside a house and all of a sudden it shot up straight to the ceiling. It can suddenly pick up signal and then lose it and go into RTH. It's happended with different types of drones, It's susceptible to interferences even from Wi-Fi in the house for building so turn that off as well. Always use prop guards. I have heard of people using painter's tape to cover the downward sensors, haven't tried it myself yet.

Hey Adam how is the stability indoors with the mini drones? As long as I have been flying I have actually never flown my birds inside. Now I have a gig where I need to. I don't currently have the prop guards so I am hoping the stability is good enough that I can get away with it. I will be up high looking down at some concrete forms and sections. what weight does the wide-angle & ND Filter add to the drone... I know 250 grams doesn't apply indoors.... but if I was to go wide outdoors on a sunny day I'd need them both... do you know the total weight of the drone after you put the Wide-angle and the ND filter on.??

Pro Tip: do some research before you ask others to figure it out for you. Everyone, even the some armature drone flyers know if you want to turn off the bottom sensor there is a very special tool to accomplish this. It's called black electrical tape. Ask you mom, I am sure she has some, it looks like her house.
