Here is an easy to follow tutorial explaining how to format a USB drive for resin 3D printing using Windows 10.
Update
I have tested drives that are larger than 16GB and above USB 2.0. I have not had any issues using a 32GB USB 3.1 drive on multiple printers.
It's possible that the issues I was seeing before have been resolved through firmware updateds.
I have changed out the product links below for newer USB drives because they are considerably less expensive than the 16GB USB 2.0 drives. They are still that nice small form factor though.
