This is the second step in freezing your eggs abroad; getting preliminary testing.
I don’t have health insurance in USA (and I don’t want to spend a small fortune there anyway) so I’m getting them in my partial hometown of Tulum in Mexico.
Before getting approved for egg freezing, you need a preliminary transvaginal ultrasound to make sure you even have enough follicles (what your eggs are in) for removal, and you also need a full blood panel to make sure you’re healthy enough for it.
Costs in Tulum were $40 for the ultrasound and $700 for full blood panel.
The actual egg freezing process plus 4 years of storage in Barcelona is $2500.
See my post on MyLifesAMovie.com for full details including what blood panels you need and what fertility clinic I’m using in Barcelona!
