In this video I will be showing you how to remove your old chain and sprockets and install new parts using an EK chain on this 2007 Yamaha FZ6. Although the factory chain is a DID chain I chose to use an EK mostly because that was available to me and the master link style.
Torque specs:
Front sprocket nut: 65 ft-lbs
Rear sprocket to drive hub: 72 ft-lbs
Rear axel nut (32mm): 87 ft-lbs
Chain slack spec: 1.77-2.17" or 45-55mm while on centre stand
The FZ6 uses 118 links in the chain
Front sprocket is 16 teeth
Rear sprocket is 46 teeth
