thanks dude! Really faced a lot of situations where I did the same but also a lot where I couldn't drop it from "my tail". Especially with Basilisks. This helped to comprehend!

This works only in AX CZ right? Because iirc if you fight in NHSS and you go over 10-11km, thargoid will wake out.

Nope, it works everywhere (i did that many times in NHSS). Originally Thargoids wake out if they kill someone (SLF for example) and there is no one in 8+ km radius. If you just kite them everything is fine. But i should mention tho, that every patch brings new bugs and "features" and i didn't play for 2 months, so i'm not entirely sure if they behave the same right now.

@@Beaverling Thanks, gonna check it out in NHSS. I remember a lot of goids escaped if I went too far. Maybe that has changed also. Will let you know.

I thought you had to be stopped for reboot and repair to restore shields to half. Is that not correct? I noticed you were still moving pretty fast at the end with FA off.

What matters is not what your speed is when you initiate the reboot, but what your speed is at some point near the end of the reboot process. So it's best to run some tests with your ship to determine where that point is, and it's a big help to flip your ship around to use the forward thrusters to slow down faster.
