Can confirm how good adding micro-needling to minoxidil can be. I was using minoxidil and finasteride for like 8-9 months before adding micro-needling. Results were good but after i started needling 1.5mm once a week it doubled my regrowth results. Im still improving month by month after another massive shed that depleted my hairline at first. Cant wait to see my results 1 year from now. And i just use 1ml of minoxidil once a day 6 times a week not on needling days.

Hi! First of all, 3 months is not always for everyone sufficient. Some people need up to 6months to regrow some hair. Yet, it is possible that you are not a good responder to Minoxidil. You can try the Minoxidil with Tretinoin solution, which has shown to improve the effectiveness of Minoxidil. But also, overall, I can't asses your case so easily. One has to always stay realistic with what one can possibly regrow. I would that, if you had some regrowth, that's already a win.

To each is own. But also, improved blood flow for hair loss is a scientifically debunked line of thought. Do what you wish. @Anthony Lopez Not really sure about that, I've seen studies say exactly 0.5mm is the most beneficial for hair regrowth. I guess it depends on the person who uses it. Would obviously be nice to know flat out 100% fact what is the best one.

@Anthony Lopez-Adisa 0.5 for hair growth, blackheads, wrinkles and above that for the "more difficult" like bad acne, burned skin and stretch marks. But I'm no doctor, these are just guides that I've recently read. Those lengths were also in a guide that came with my latest dermaroller.

@biosecurePM
Жыл бұрын
Haha well like a said, you first take a dermapen and microneedle your head for 10 min + then apply a topical solution of distilled water + PTD DBM across your head and massage it in a bit. Best to wear gloves, depending on depth of your microneedling you dont want to risk bacteria or so get into the skin. In EU you can get PTD for example at Lunapharm in Poland, in the U.S. there are many places, even clinics offer it offline for on-site treatments.
