+anmol Malik //Don't stay in temples. You're just promoting them goons I'm from India. Stay in an Airbnb instead. Another motherland hater spotted who could go to the extent of insulting his own country in front of others. Some douche will enjoy the comfort of the country but abuse its native culture. There are many citizens of India who could sponsor the travel ticket of people like you so that they make sure you end up in syria ,somalia or Saudi Arabia where freedom of speech is promised.

Renting and utilities are the most expenses of life. Great suggestions, but Couch surfing has been creepy and deadly for some. i love my own space, and rented an apartment in Bali on AirBnB.

good ideas. you could also stay for free with acquaintances you've made from online communities. homestays are cheaper forms of accomodation here in northern philippines (pagudpud) at P500/night beside the beach. 😉
