I want to stress that a cleanser, a moisturizer, and a sunscreen are the ONLY three products that are considered absolutely necessary in *any* skin care routine. Anything else you may add - retinol, essences, AHAs/BHAs, vitamin C, you name it - is nice and will help you yield results faster or more reliably, but they are not mandatory like those three. Please don't feel pressured to go over your budget or spend an hour in your bathroom everyday to get better skin. Also, be cautious with what you use on your face. Don't get everything mentioned in this video and slap it on right away. Your skin needs time to get used to certain products, most notably retinol or any variant of retinol. Combining lots of potent ingredients on your face when you're not used to much will likely result in increased sensitivity, redness, and possibly even acne and peeling. Be informed and go slow. A general skin care routine is important, but here's what's equally as important when you want results: - drink lots of water - eat healthy foods - get enough sleep (both time wise and quality wise) - reduce stress - avoid smoking at all costs - don't drink alcohol as often, or as much - don't eat junk food as often, or as much - do skin care according to what YOUR skin specifically needs (skin type, problems, etc) And what you can also do: - wash your hands more often - don't touch your face as much - wash/change your pillowcases often (satin is antimicrobial!) - breathe clean air - make sure your hair and scalp are clean as well Good luck, gentlemen!

Wait : don’t listen blindly to only one opinion or must use the products recommended on this video. Most importantly is know what skin type you have - oily, dry, sensitive or a combination. If you are oily skin and use oily/heavy cream products, your pores are gonna get blocked and you will produce pimples. Use the right skincare product lines that are relative to your skin types!

@@smoksok172 I personally have oily skin and so I’m not an expert for dry skin advice. I would have thought dry skins don’t usually get a lot of pimples compared with oily skins (while oily skins don’t get a lot of wrinkle!) that’s a trade off! Well, I heard if your skin is too dry, it will produce oil automatically and this blocks your pores to create pimples. So for dry skin, always moisturize your skin. You are welcome to use cream (actually follow those skin care routines for dry skin to get basic good skin first!). For glass skin, you may need extra ingredients such as vitamin C and niacinamide. Need to find these ingredients product but also for your skin type. Last but not least, if you say you have acne around your neck, do you often scratch your face/neck? Because our fingertips contain so much dirt and so try not to use our fingers to touch our face!!
@wallytang
Жыл бұрын
@@mancerrss it is best to know your skin type first. For example, my skin type is oily and if I use oily cleanser and heavy cream like the video suggested, my face will definitely get pimples and not glass skin! The BHA/Aha ingredients work for exfoliation though I personally prefer scrub (as my face is oily! and need heavy duty!). Try to look for ingredients such as Vitamin C and niacinamide products that work for your skin type. It takes time to find your own products. Definitely a lot of trial and error!

a big part of “glass skin” is a) having naturally blemish/freckle free skin already and/or b) bb cream. if you think the men pictured have freckles or blemishes and simply made them disappear with a routine, you’re tripping, and if you think most korean men aren’t using makeup to even out their face, you’re also tripping. also: double-cleansing is not recommended for people who are not using makeup or a thick sunscreen. most facial sunscreens are meant to be absorbed and don’t require extra cleansing. double cleansing is popular among korean male skincare routines because, as i said, makeup use among men is common.

In the morning, if my face is a little puffy, I'll put on an ice pack while doing my stomach crunches. I can do a thousand now. After I remove the ice pack, I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower, I use a water activated gel cleanser. Then a honey almond body scrub. And on the face, an exfoliating gel scrub. Then apply an herb mint facial mask, which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an aftershave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. 🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation: 00:00 🧔 *Taking care of your skin as a man is not girly or gay; it's a masculine practice, especially since men don't typically wear makeup. Clear and healthy skin boosts confidence.* 00:29 ✨ *Glass skin, popularized by Koreans, is characterized by a luminous and poreless complexion. Men's skin requires a dedicated routine to address acne, dryness, hyperpigmentation, sensitivity, and aging signs.* 01:39 🥑 *Feed your skin with skin-friendly foods like carrots, walnuts, avocados, pumpkins, and tomatoes. These foods provide essential vitamins and antioxidants for healthy skin.* 03:01 💧 *Hydration is crucial for luminous skin. Drinking three to four liters of water daily flushes impurities, leaving room for new skin cells to thrive.* 03:41 🌟 *Establish a skincare routine: Double cleanse using an oil-based cleanser followed by a water-based cleanser. Exfoliate once or twice a week with chemical exfoliants. Use moisturizing essences, ampoules, and a sealing moisturizer.* 06:58 ☀️ *Apply sunscreen daily to protect your skin from damage. For the nighttime routine, keep it simple with cleanser, retinol, moisturizer, and lip balm. Retinol helps reduce fine lines, wrinkles, and dark spots.* 07:54 ⏰ *Consistency is key. Results may take two to three months, so stick to the routine for luminous, dewy glass skin.* Made with HARPA AI

you should double cleanse at night, but doing so in the morning prevents your skin from continuing to absorb the retinol, or other serums applied the night before. also applying retinol AFTER moisturizer does not allow it to sink into the skin as much. it should be applied first, or after a toner or hydrator like hyaluronic acid. If you're smoking, doing drugs, drinking, and eating bad foods, you'll also destroy your skin. Make sure you're drinking alot of water, getting a balanced diet, and avoiding drugs, alcohol, and stress.

@@beetlejuice6881 I drink alot of anti-aging high-protein fruit smoothies and eat alot of chicken. But I think it depends on your diet. When I'm bulking up, I have a more "paleo" diet. And when I'm cutting (getting lean), I have a "keto" diet. I think you should look into those and how you can fit it into your lifestyle. But as far as the smoothie goes, I always have anti-aging smoothies every day whether i'm cutting or bulking. My smoothies have 20g of collagen peptides, 20-35g of whey protein powder, 200mg of hyaluronic acid powder mix, and then you can add whatever fruits you want after that.

Start slow, sometimes less is more, every dermatoligist will tell you that. Not every skin is the same, and some react quite aggressive to too many products. My skin looks the best if I only do the minimum. If I go overboard I get redness and outbreaks. This routine is quite excessive, so dont start of immediately like that, and just see how your skin reacts.

What worked for me: Cleanser, a moisturizer, and sunscreen. Apply cleanser during shower in the morning. After showering apply moisturizer. Just before leaving home, or around 9-10 am apply sunscreen. Apply sunscreen every two-three hours, from 9-10 am til 5:00 pm. In the night, wash your face again, dry and apply moisturizer, sleep tight. Repeat the next day. (Bonus tip) use a stress relief body cream during the night for your arms, legs and shoulders.

My only concern is how these products do not really state for what skin type. Someone could be oily, dry, combination, or normal and get different results with a side of sensitive or dehydrated skin condition. I tried using an otc retinol but since I have combination sensitive skin (pretty sensensitive), I cannot use. I used it every 2 days but it started to damage my skin, so I stopped. I would need to go to the dermatologist instead and most likely get a prescription. First step is know your skin type and see how these products will affect your skin. Any sensitive skin for any skin type will need to avoid fragrances so make sure to read the labels.

I combine this with exercise and good whole foods which I think contributed way more than this alone. Also the less stress I have at work generally my skin is better.. more stressful periods I tend to get spots. Two words, people: Paula's Choice. No colors, no fragrances, no foolish packaging, no gimmicks. Forget all of these other brands. Use exactly as directed, and your only regret will be not having used these products before. Also, ALWAYS use a sunscreen of SPF 30 or higher--even on cloudy days, or when you spend the day indoors. Moisturize over your BHA/AHA exfoliant before retiring for the evening. Not sure why people fall for the gimmicky "korean skincare" or whatever other trendy skincare for the moment. Just use tried and tested products, remain consistent and watch out for the results.

All I can think is, “I believe in taking care of myself, in a balanced diet, in a rigorous exercise routine. In the morning, if my face is a little puffy, I'll put on an icepack while doing my stomach crunches. I can do a thousand now. After I remove the icepack, I use a deep-pore cleanser lotion. In the shower, I use a water-activated gel cleanser. Then a honey-almond bodyscrub. And on the face, an exfoliating gel-scrub. Then I apply an herb mint facial masque, which I leave on for ten minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an aftershave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm, followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.”

If you are broke or just don't buy all these different products, then the simplest routine would be to use a sanitizer/handwash/soap to clean your hands to remove any debris and germs (Scrub for atleast 30 seconds to have an effective cleanse). Then just apply soap, facewash, or even handwash (soap is soap) at your face and gently scrub. Let the lather remain for at least 30 seconds to kill any germs and then splash water at your face to remove it (Don't scrub to remove it, just splash). Do this twice a day, In the morning right after waking up and in the night before going to sleep. If you have been in a dusty environment, then do this right after leaving that environment. It will not give you glass skin, but will definitely do a lot to keep acne/pimples away as it will keep your skin clear of any germs, debris or dead skin cells that may block your pores.

@@bxdhov Hello, okay I would like to break down few things like I did this consistently for almost 29 days I would say! And yes I see a very good difference! But I would also say like for my skin I didn’t need all the things that was in this video which I came to know after using it for a week! For example I don’t need oil cleanser as i don’t use makeup or concealer so just a cleanser was more than enough for me! Also sometimes I did skip essence which did no difference to my skin or face! The most consistently I used was Cleanser Moisturizer Sunscreen Retinol Serum vitamin C I apply each and give like a minute gap to apply the next thing! Retinol made a huge difference to me applying in the night and waking up with skin very smooth! Having said this I also made sure my diet is better if not perfect! I ate a lot of fruits every day! And I also eat veggies mostly like avocados, broccoli, beets , carrots, spinach I don’t know if those things adds any value but I eat them regularly and yes I drink a lot of water! Workout wise I didn’t do much consistently but since my work involves physical things maybe that would’ve certainly pushed it further! So far I’m happy with the results, sure it makes a gradual progress I would say atleast for my skin as I can clearly see many dark spots have gone and scars but one thing I would say is when I sleep for good 7-8 hours the effect is more and whenever I slept like 5 hours or bad sleep the effect was minimal so sleeping is certainly the key for this! One thing which I’m lagging is a good 8 hours sleeps so now working on that and also I’m using them consistently but not necessarily all the products you can just play with it while the keeping basic as permanent like cleanser serum retinol night moisturizer sun screen

U dont have to double cleanse in the morning, coz ur not wearing sunscreen or makeup before u sleep, and it will dry ur skin even more

You’re right about the morning bro dead wrong about night Sunscreens will be water resistant for the most part. You can get ones that aren’t but even so oil cleaners still help remove any dirt and sebum you accumulated and they are actually pretty gentle anyways. Kinda the whole point of them as you avoided having to use more cleanser

Agree. I only wash my face with cool water in the morning. That overnight facial oil is so precious! Why would I want to get rid of it.

I noticed after eating blueberries the wrinkles on my face smooth out within a couple of hours. Blueberries are definite must add for smooth skin.

How about charcoal cleansers? Are they good?

They tend to be pretty stripping and harsh, just go for a basic one.

you can be ugly, but if your skin looks nice, you can always find someone find you appealing
