Really great Tech/Progressive Death Metal. And on Monday: Intolerance - Waking Nightmares of an Endless Void is some decent OSDM It's not a complete drought

I dug this and would like to see more, for sure. "Never Cross The Dead" is still my favorite of Hooded Menace's albums, but it kind of depends on my mood. You covered them perfectly here. As far as releases this week, I kind of liked what I heard of a band called Worshipper's new album "One Way Trip" on Magnetic Eye. It's just your basic palate-cleanser album, but I've been listening to it and having fun.

Been listening to HM since their debut on Razorback. Interesting this video comes out as I have recently been going through their discography again. I think Effigies is definitely the album one should start with. It's the most accessible in my opinion and a great bridge between their early and latter material. My favorite by them is still the debut. Lasse's vocals sound like a Blind Templar covered in cobwebs, slowly shuffling out of a dark tomb. And the riffs on Grasp of the Beastwoman and Eyeless Horde are otherworldly. And the cover of the theme song to the movie Manhattan Baby is absolutely stunning. I agree with Blayne tho, their discography is flawless!
