My sister and me are going to do 4 craft fairs this coming fall. The majority of them are at Catholic, Baptist and Methodist churches. I live in the South so a lot of craft fairs tend to be held at churches. Luckily, most of these are 2 day craft fairs for really cheap. We had done only 2 last fall and 1 last spring. A couple of people recruited us for their church's craft fair so that's why we are doing 4 starting in October. Everything you mentioned is definitely true! We did buy our own tables so we didn't have to rent them. Also, got our own dolly to make it easier to haul stuff back and forth to and from car. I will say that fall craft fairs make more money for us because of the Christmas season. People are looking for unique gifts. My sister took advantage of this as she does lettering and sold many items she personally hand lettered like custom ornaments, coasters, bookmarks and such.

Thats awesome! Those small gatherings are a great way to start! I have done a couple one day school ones and it always nice being in a more intimate space. Good luck with your craft shows! Would love to hear more on what you make!

My first craft fair is in two weeks and I only found out about it a couple of days ago lol here goes my mad dash to get everything together
Hope you don't mind me mentioning it here, but I recently went down a long internet rabbit hole that led me to your channel in an effort to track down some music you were a part of many years ago with Grizzly! Love the music so much and was wondering if you'd ever talk about it or those times. Glad to see you still active online! Hope all is well.

@@friedia Long story, but a Grizzly song called "Rattle Toy" is in a video game I love called Go Go Hypergrind! I LOVE THIS SONG, so I did lots of searching and google translating lol, and my search led me to the Amazon Japan listing for the Fly High Fly EP, which I just got in the mail recently! The search also lead to your channel obviously! Thanks for taking the time to respond and to read all this :)

Hi, Teresa! Did you ever get your website up? I do website design for small businesses (I promise this isn't a pitch!) and I'd be happy to give you some tips if you're still working on it.

Hello! I don't always get notified why I get rejected but sometimes when I do they tell me. A couple reasons were: Website not fully up yet. Or Didn't have a company and was running it under my name, if they need me to get insurance etc it would be better to be under a corporation or LLC. Might be helpful to ask "why?" Good Luck!
