Finally, a transmasc person of color. Where have you been this whole time? My whole life growing up exclusively around white people (as I never knew the black side of my family) I thought I was ashamed of being mixed race. I had "race" dysphoria and I thought I didnt think I was attractive as a woman because I was darker skinned and extra hairy. Didnt even realize that I had internalized my rascism and rationalized away my transgender feelings. But now I realize I was just dysphoric and internalizing the rascism built into the fabric of american society. Keep doing what you're doing, im so glad to have found a transmasc person of color who is active in the lgbtq+ educational community on youtube ❤🤗

Tysmm! I’m a trans 14 y/o and I’ve known that I was trans since I was 4. This really helped me especially the scent part, most videos on tips trans mtf doesn’t mention that.

aw, I so glad my video helped you 🥺and yes just switching the deodorant alone was a big deal for me 😅 stay safe and i hope you have more euphoria days rather than dysphoria ones 😇💛

What's a real struggle for me and my dysphoria is how my gender expression and identity are so different. I love wearing pretty feminine clothes, makeup and all, but whenever I do it I always end up looking like a girl. I feel much more comfortable dressing in an atypical masculine way, but I don't feel like myself.
@ells330

clothes and makeup do NOT have a gender. i wish the world wasn’t programmed to believe that they are for girls, but masculine/non-binary genders SLAY in dresses and makeup. don’t let anyone tell you that you are not handsome because you definitely are

I really appreciate what you said and I deal with my dysphoria the same way, I say a lot of times like "Some boys just have tits" and it really makes me feel a lot better to know that I'm not in the 'wrong body' just that its not normalized for men to have my body type. I've watched a couple of your videos today and I am subscribing❤

Yeess. I try normalizing it for myself & hopefully just start seeing it normalized in general. Everyone comes in different shapes and sizes regardless of gender/sex. & I really don't like that narrative that every trans person feels like they are born in the wrong body. Also thank you so much for supporting me!!

Community is everything for me when I’m having really bad dysphoria days. It’s nice not to feel so alone and see others like me... Especially people living life, loving themselves, and affirming different bodies.

another hint if you can't buy a binder bc of family/being financially dependent on a transphobe: buy a compression bra! a lot of cis girls wear them for sports so it won't raise any suspicion. they are also less restricting than a binder and you can wear them in gym class without suffocating.

As a pre-transition trans guy, a big part of trans acceptance for me is learning that my body doesn’t need to look a certain way for me to be valid as a trans guy. Not everyone wants to medically transition in the same way, and not everyone wants to medically transition in the first place. More people should be told that. I genuinely think we would have less detransitioners if more trans people were told that they are valid, regardless of how they appear.

that's my only thing I'm so worried about is that I'm going to look like a man instead of looking like a stud like I have girl features but I don't look like a girl I really don't know how to explain it but I just hope that I don't regret this

ahh so you’re worried you wont look manly enough. Well it’s fair to say testosterone affects everyone differently, but majority of us get the facial hair and the really deep voice. I have a comparison picture of me up on my Instagram if you wanna check that out @marcusgreyy . But u gotta “trust the process” 😂 lol
