I use do the same, zero out all the adder tables for spark and fuel, disable PE, and run it all off the VE table. Tuned tons of DSMs so maybe it's an import thing. But once you get your VE table dialed in and learn how to use the HPTuners EQ tables it's super easy to make AFR changes. You can command pretty much any AFR at any boost level without rescaling the whole VE table.

Sweet vid mang! Couple things, During compare, unchanged cells stay purple, green are differences, and red are cells that have unwritten changes made. The mix green/red (like your VE showed) would just be a mix of the two... Injector flow rate should be flat if using the vacuum referenced return rail... Sloped like shown would be for non return style rail without the vacuum reference... Wonder if that was making the VE goofy...

a21bravo when you buy injectors from companies they usually scale them for pressure just like the flow vs kpa table is. The vacuum line on regulator will adjust pressure and when pressure is adjusted the injector size sort of gets bigger. More pressure = larger injector. So it being scaled like this I feel is right? I could be wrong but it works the way I have it so I’m leaving it alone for now haha

@@HunterTuned Stock tune was flat right? If my head is wrapped around this correctly scaling the table with vacuum reference is double compensating for manifold/fuel rail pressure differential. Tune would think injector is flowing differently at 80/100kpa than it actually is, making VE up to that area artificially higher because you're compensating for it with VE... If that makes sense, lol... It'll work either way, just wonder if that caused the regression of the VE numbers in boost.

HunterTuned if it had a vacuum referenced regulator the ifr and the offset tables should be flat. Like Ryan said it will work either way, but you're compensating in the tune for what the fpr is already doing.

2002 4x4 gmc ext cab 5.3 ebay turbo axle flip torsion bar decranked front rubbers cut in half.... Homade 4x4 select... Pretty bad ass for a poor kid just wanting to have a good time... I did this on a 95 tahoe for my father just left the axle ends in so the wheel bearings stayed together and we pulled the rest of axle out/ front diff out and drive shaft.. Put old gm rally wheels with 275 60s in rear with flowmasters and a cowl hood n visor everyone loved it and boy she pretty fast light to light

I see you have a 99 Silverado. Is it 4wd? Are you running a 4l80e? Is there any benefit to running a 2002 OS? I was reading that the 12212156 OS is preferable. I'm running a much older OS on my stock tune, it still has two VE tables etc.

Probably not the best video to ask this on but have been watching alot of your vids and been wanting to mess with Honda stuff but have no desire to get into fwd. I'm curious what's your opinion on a good, cheap swap that I could put into a Baja bug(I know they turn back wards) kinda looking at d series would like to just stay NA looking for a reliable engine that's fairly easy to tune. Btw love the truck I'm finishing up a turbo LS swapped valiant hopefully by the end of the year
