Good video, now for the two u joint zerks I was told to only give them half a pump of grease so you don’t risk breaking the seal

Anyone have the diagram of where the spots are, or the manual itself? Grease and laptops or phones don't go well together... 🙂

If you struggle to line up the Zerk for the drivers side. Put in neutral and push forward a bit.

Might want to mention you removed the plastic panels at the front of bike, you always have those off or just for this video? I bought a tool specifically for removing those little button clips and they’re still a pain to remove even with the tool
@OutlandyAndy

JeffSpicoliable mine doesn’t come stock with the panels. I believe it’s an 850 + feature.

Do you have a cover where the 2up seat sits
@OutlandyAndy

Stephen Bouchard yes I do, I have the can am storage box that clips in when the seats removed. It’s nice extra storage for some drinks or your wallet keys etc.

Any particular grease type or grade preferred or required?
@OutlandyAndy
3 жыл бұрын
I like to use any marine grade grease. (Usually blue in colour) my crew does a lot of water crossings. But I’m sure any bearing grease you have would do the trick.

Jeffrey Milliken really depends on the type of riding your doing. I tend to do it after each ride where I’m going through deep water.

Anyone else have problem getting the grease gun tip on the zerk below the gas tank? It fits on other side but won’t go in on one side, I’m filing down tip of my grease gun
@OutlandyAndy
5 жыл бұрын
Yes! if you have a heavy duty grease gun the tip will be too round and hit the bar. I had to use a tip from a smaller grease gun that was a smaller diameter

todd hurley it’s been a good machine. I’ve pushed it hard. Only problem I have had was over heating due to the rad clogging up with mud. Once I put on the rad relocate kit it’s been perfect
