You explained so well how to do this, I am glad I found your video! I am in Cleveland, Ohio, USA and we have several large 'eternal fragrance' daphnes we bought over 10 years ago. But we can't find them around us any more. So now I will be rooting lots of cuttings! Thank you so much!

Thank you for the lovely comment, and hello to you from Australia! It is very easy to grow them from the cuttings, I hope you will have a great success growing them. If you have any more questions please don't hesitate to send me a message. I should do an update video showing you guys how those cuttings have been doing soon. Thank you for watching.

Thanks for the video! About how long does it take for the plant to grow large enough to plant in the ground as a shrub? The daphne I have in the yard is 3 feet tall by 4 feet wide.

You are welcome, I would wait at least for a year so the plant will be strong so don't need to baby it as much.

Where should I keep the container with the cuttings? In direct sunlight or indirect light?

The cuttings should be in the indirect sunlight, bright area. Thank you for watching and good luck!

I have not tried the potato method so I cant say about it, but this way worked very for me so I like it better. Have you tried the Potato one yet? Has it worked for you? I would love to hear. Thank you for watching.

@@liennguyenthi1360 Not yet it is that people have been able to propagate rose with potato so wondered if same process could be applied to daphne
