Wouldn’t the algorithm confuse about our shop if we have different niches? Also isnt better to have more listings about one niche so we can keep using the same tags , so probabilities are we will appear more in the search results page

Hey thanks so much for all the great advice! I want to try to do quotes/affirmations. Do you recommend I start with one product type only like wall art or can I also try different products first? Is it better to niche down the product or the type of quotes or both?

I can appreciate the controversy regarding ads. The only time my ads were actually profitable was leading up to Christmas on my precious jewelry message card sales. For me, I still need to see sales I'm receiving organically or using ads making a profitable impact on my listings that are making sales. If using ads as a long-term investment winner, I'd need someone with the balls to case study the journey. My thinking was always to increase momentum using ads, but as I spend money, my anxiety goes up, and I eventually switch them off.

The problem is 50k other people are are studying the same other sellers, all copying eachother and doing the same thing. This may have worked a few years ago but not so much anymore its way too over saturated and most people do not have success. Plus etsy will ban many POD sellers when they start.

Hi, Christina. I appreciate the information you share. I have worked on various platforms like Ebay and Facebook marketplace. I have three Etsy shops. I have recently started to niche down and use more specific tags and SEO per Erank. I don't think I was fully getting this in the past. I was selling the mom shirt lol. So now I get it. I also have someone managing my Pinterest account per other Etsy research. I haven't really heard you emphasize the need for Pinterest or Tailwind. Have you found either of these to be any type of a real plus, as far as increase in traffic? I don't think I am really having an increase in traffic as a result of using this type of social media. What are your thoughts on this? Also, do you allow international customers to purchase from your shops? Thank you.

Hi! I have tried pinterest, but honestly it hasnt resulted in much for me. Ive heard it does for others but I am able to make enough sales without it! I am sure it cant hurt to do at all but I just havent seen the results that make me want to put towards more time towards it. I would consider also outsourcing it for myself as I dont enjoy adding to pinterest much. I've heard it does require a lot of time and consistency that I just dont have, id rather focus on making new etsy products

❗Important question ❗️ Hey I created a few designs on printify and ordered some samples... The costs were a lot higher than expected through shipping costs were added. What happens when a customer orders through Etsy? Are the costs for shipping to the customer directly included? (So they can see the shipping costs?)
@Kentarius

I thought the same thing. I ordered samples and shipping was outrageous. I think I may just order through my store and see if it's cheaper.

When you tried testing multiple Niches did you do that by creating a bunch of different stores for each niche? Or was it one store with multiple products around different niches?
@c.u.online
Жыл бұрын
Multiple products in just one etsy store! Now my apparel shop sells only shirts and sweatshirt. I still make several designs for each niche and then put them in both shirts and sweatshirts to get traffic and test which sells more.

I am just wondering....if I am based and my shop is based in Germany but I want to sell only in Australia and US...stating location of my shop ...will that not have a negative influence on my potential buyers in US and Australia?

If you're doing POD and your printer is based on US or Australia, then it will be fine. I'm from Canada and I sell mostly to US buyers.
