Aww!! My heart melted when you said your Grandad allowed you space in his fridge. My grandson is 2 years old but is incredibly mature for his age. He is so kind with my plants and loves sniffing my mint plant and cilantro. I look forward to the day my Asher grows his own veggies like grandma taught him 🤗

Also, the video, the dude's attitude and love for garlic....how can you NOT give it a thumbs up?! Smash that like button fools, from Texas, USA.

In my area (zone 5, mid continent) the garlic slowly replaces the lawn all on its own. There is a section of garden that we need to reclaim from the garlic, and many other sections that have a good quantity. It's garlic that's been in the family for around 50 years, so we make sure it grows in at least a few good spots.

As a new gardener, I mistakenly planted my garlic a week ago so this is GREAT information! I can just cover the tops with dirt or another insulator and set them in my garage freezer for 3 weeks and then a week in the refrigerator. Awesome!!
