In this video I show you a simple technique to grow Iresine (Blazin’ Rose) from cuttings. Results are fast and with this method, you will see success in less than a week. Iresine plants prefer shady areas that receive a lot of indirect sunlight or part sun. In frost free zones Iresine is a perennial, but if you have frost it will become an annual-- so take it inside and make it an indoor plant. These make great plants for the shade, as they bring bright color to dull areas in your garden. In zones 10 and 11, they are perennials and do not require extra maintenance (bringing plants indoors in colder months). Propagation is best done in the spring or fall.
