Very good information on Penstemons! Thank You!!! It's funny that I have found more information on Penstemons from Brits than more local places, since they are mostly from my country! But this is why I LOVE channels like yours here on YT! I live in Central Texas, U.S., in a large section of terrain called, The Hill Country. A quick description if you're not familiar with the area. Zone 7b/8a - we have mostly large Live Oak Trees, and big rolling hills, with hardly any top soil to speak of! And of coarse, plenty of dry, hot temps, 6 to 9 months of the year, depending on how mild, or harsh, the Winter. Our rain normally comes during the cooler months of Winter, and early Spring. Many a Christmas has been spent playing outside in 90°F/32°C, and by contrast, last February, we were part of a horrendous Arctic Storm bringing us 6 days of ice, snow, and temps around -5°F/-20°C! Which of coarse, wasn't our normal Winter temperatures! Our normal cold months consist of a handful of ice storms, rarely any snow, and just a few random days of freezing temperatures. The rest of the Winter days are quite mild. Honestly, I'm always amazed the dormant plants know when actual Spring has arrived, since we can be warm one day, freezing the next, followed by warm days again. Actually, there are some plants who get fooled into sprouting leaves early, only to be frozen while fully leafed out. But guess what?! My Penstemons made it through that Arctic freeze with flying colors!!! They were still dormant, but that was no guarantee for safety from that storm. My in-ground Daffodils did not survive. But those Penstemons definitely proved themselves this year!!! Later when it was time for them to sprout, they were right on time, and gorgeous to boot!! Ever since I found the "Hill Country Penstemon" variety, I have been in love with Penstemons. And now, I'm always looking for more varieties! I have a smallish prairie-wildflower garden, and it NEEDS more varieties of Penstemons!! The garden centers over here do not sell these tough plants, although I am not sure as to why not?!! With your video, I now have more names so I can search for their seeds. I should mention, your writing the names up on the screen is EXTREMELY HELPFUL!!! Thank You for sticking to the end of my looooong comment! I very much appreciate you sharing your info! Again, Thank You so much! 💚🌱💚 💚🌱💚🌱💚🌱💚🌱💚🌱💚🌱💚

I just visited your website, and Oh My Word!! It is GLORIOUS!!! I went straight to the Penstemon section!! (naturally!!!) I see the only Penstemon a bit close to my Hill Country Penstemon is the variety, "Sour Grapes". And that's just how I feel about NOT being able to order from your plant selection!! Hahaha!! I knew before I looked that I wouldn't be able to order internationally. But it's still fun to peruse a good plant website!! Y'all have a beautiful site, as well as a beautiful selection of plants to choose from. Well, I may not be able to buy from your business, but I CAN subscribe to your YT channel! I'm hooked!! Looking forward to watching all your vids!! 💚 💚 💚 💚 💚
