Can you make a update video with things learned and current state? Thanks

I just made my first bin with 500 worms. I work at a wholesale fishing bait company, live waxworms are one of the most expensive things we sell, pound for pound... we get them shipped in from out of state, u reliably and expensively... my boss said if I can do this, he would buy them off me and I could make a lot of money, we both could. He even offered part of the shop if I need space... so anyways, I just made my first bin, dumped 2x 250count cups of worms in it, I’m gonna try to do it here first, once these worms turn into moths, I’ll use them to get several more bins going, and in a few months I’ll hopefully be making some money.

@@TheFrogfeeder I read that one moth can lay up to 600 eggs? What is your experience? For example, if I bought 50 worms, what growth should I expect? I want to raise my own feed for my chickens.

@@catsincredulous9998 there are much easier bugs to raise, all I’m gonna say...

@@TheFrogfeeder Well, if you were making 3K a week from that I would think it would be well worth it. Seems like an easy process. I may give it a shot. So far, I've had no luck with mealworms and crickets, so...onto the next thing.

@@catsincredulous9998 if you can’t raise mealworms, I wouldn’t waste the time and money trying to do wax... just the amount of available info should tell you how easy/hard each is... but you do whatcha want, come back to me with a big old “I told you so”...

My wax worms are in a metal trash can, how they got there is unknown. They have about 4 inches of yuck in bottom of can. The yuck is full of thousands of larva which crawl up sides of can. I feed them oatmeal, green peppers, and dried grass clippings. Then I take them fishing or feed them to Guinea chicks and peacock chicks.🥴

it is costly worm keeping. I feed them with sugar, wax and bean powder.

Wax worms so sexy to me. Only insect I would consider actually eating.
