Thank you, finally a simple video that shows me how to do a basic stitch repair in less than 2 minutes on my seat without all the extra fancy techniques and background music. Simple vid for a simple job thanks again 👍

Thanks for the video! Super helpful. I’m repairing my couch right now with a similar kit and process. It may not look pretty but sometimes you just gotta get it done and prevent it from getting worse, right?!

YIKES. While I really appreciate the time & effort to make the video, it doesn't look very good to tell the truth.

Lol, I wasn't going for good looks honestly. I was going for something durable so that my kids don't rip the seat and make it way worst. And so far it's holding up after a year.

To have it look good you gotta get a professional to do it so be ready to spend at least a couple hundred on a repair like that
@Zomby_Woof
4 күн бұрын
@@NewDesignVinylGraphicsNo, you need to take the time to pull out the seat, remove the skin, reverse it and sew it from the back, then reinstall the skin. It's a bit of a project, with plenty of opportunity to make it look worse. Definitely practice first, and allow lots of time. There is often adhesive and other fastening methods, so getting t he skin off and on is the hard part, not the actual stitching.

Hey mate, just wondering how the stich is holding up (with kids in there)? I'm about to do the same repair for my car, also seen at my local car store an adhesive patch that I might put on top to cover the stitch which will hopefully help prolong the inevitable re-tear... agghhh have kids they said.

Hello, so far so good. I think what helps though is I bought a cover that goes on top so it ensure that they are not touching it or playing with the seam. This is the cover that I got. amzn.to/45cxVvF

Terrible yes but practical. Lol meaning it won’t get worse. I think in order to do a better job you need to reupholster the entire seat.

I disagree. The car is old 2014 plus I got three kids that will destroy it anyway overtime. Plus, if I had a professional do it I wouldn't be able to a video and get a chance to disagree about it with you. 😅@@louishoff2110
