Ladies- please know your worth. Never allow yourself to be an 'option'. If a man is involved with someone else- he's not available, so dont waste your time & energy waiting around for him to 'choose' you. You must choose to love & honor yourself. Release people from your life who do not honor you, and make room for someone who does❤️. Trust & believe there are men who are ready & able to commit to one woman. -Peace.

Just so everyone knows. Guys are a victim to this too. I was a victim to this by a female ex lover who I initially pushed away emotionally because I was too afraid to open up. But never dated anyone else or did anything to intentionally hurt her in any way and cared a lot about her. She then proceeds to string me along while committing to another guy saying she still has feelings and doesn’t want to lose me insisting that we be friends. Giving me hope that things could resolve between us. So I would say to both guys and girls. Don’t fall for this type of treatment and walk away. Don’t be a backup plan. Be firm with what you want and if they’re unwilling to provide it, then you will know the answer and save yourself from months of heartache.

This video touched my💓 and frankly tears came down my eyes because it is exactly what I went through. I feel ashamed. Because I let this happen. For 1 whole year. This situation caused me pain I never knew before. And I knew I was suppose to end it but I was too weak 4 that. It was love so strong I never felt before. The whole year affected my selfesteem and pride so much. And up until now my vision is not clear - I never saw the person as selfish. I cut all contact despite it is hard and I can't fall in love ever since. And I still think about him but never want it back because I can not forget all the pain he caused. He still has not decided and still contacts me from time to time. This actually made me think about how weak he is. I just hope one day it will get better and I will find love again.

I have found that I can save my heart and soul if I do not have sex for a while. That is not to say heavy make out sessions as we get to know each other are not fun lol. Funny I am currently finding myself in this position too dating a man I had been a long-distance friend with on Thanksgiving according to him he has been single for 8 years and had met another woman for a week before he met me and had a fling she is now coming to our town for Christmas to be with him as a result of this problem I let him know fair enough we are dating I don't even know you however it puts a damper on how far this relationship can go along with the fact he's only in town his home until January 5th and he's off to Florida who would I be to think that I'm going to be the woman to stop this behavior in this man no instead I am choosing to hang out once a week perhaps and see what happens have fun and not engage in any sexual activities because I will not allow my heart to be involved as I would if this were different and I have not taken myself off the market instead I am actively dating and all of this has been conveyed in adult communication between me and this person Hope this helps no one needs a broken heart

These guys are always on some kind of game to fill their own insecurities and when we get involved with them they just bring us down with them or even lower than what we were before due to old experiences that brought us down. Building strong self esteem and self confidence is probably best before we get involved with anybody so we're not doormats anymore. I've learned the hard way

Brilliant video. Just came out of this situation thank God. It crept up on our relationship as I was initially led to believe there had been nothing between him and children's mother for over 10 years. It seemed a fairly safe bet.......not. Me coming on the scene seemed to trigger feelings and emotions between them. Suddenly I felt it was equally me and her. It didn't feel exclusive. Then he was suddenly confused and needed time. Was difficult at first because I had already invested so much even tho I knew this wasn't what I signed up for. I felt by finally leaving I retained some level of respect which I felt I was rapidly losing to this situation. Time is a healer and I know now that it is the best decision I could have made. A burden was lifted and I left them to it. Great video message once again. Xx

I fell in love as a teenager. We kissed. Next thing I knew another guy wanted to fight me over her. I was caught in a love triangle. I took the high road and left the triangle. They dated for a while until he cheated on her. So she chose him over me. Years later she hoovered, breadcrumbed me. She is an insecure attention seeker who likes men to chase her and must like the drama. I'm intrigued, but I'm finally OUT. I have been with many women since and this is just a mind game I could never win. I believe her to be a covert narc.

I am currently in a love triangle. I was seeing a guy that wasn’t really interested in me romantically and I started seeing someone else who could have possibly wanted more. The original guy started getting his act together and explaining his feelings. The other guy was a complete angel from the start. I eventually talked with the second guy to see his intentions before I could let anything get further and he stated that we were “friends” and put emphasis on the fact that we were not dating. I eventually decided to tell both guys about each other which I later found out was a mistake because of the male ego. I wanted my intention to be clear and I wanted to be honest with them both. Me being the girl I am I fall easily and cared deeply for the both of them, but I also had to let them know if you guys aren’t going to stand up to the plate I am single and I don’t have to choose. There was a lot of chaos over this, and a lot of tears and anger, but I gave them both chances to be men and they didn’t. I see in the comments people are trying to bash the person in the middle, but that’s unfair. You are allowed to feel however you want, whenever you want, towards whoever you want. You can feel passionately about multiple people at a time.

I left my husband, due to some pretty severe abuse( tried to drown me,drove us straight into oncoming traffic etc.I moved out, was also separated because he was bringing women into our marital bed. As time went on ,I became ill. Terminally.I met a male friend who offered to protect me from him and care for me. As I began to get more I'll, my husband asked for a divorce. I convinced him to give it one more try, and I was going to move out of my friends place. Husband again began to act very cruel to me,

There is a saying, when 2 fight over 1, usually someone else wins (means someone completely new). To me no one in love triangle wins in the end. After heartbreak and tears, sometimes there is no coming back. None of the people come out happy from this.

People who think as you do should be the standard required when dating. Like having a really good foundation that draws interest to anyone truly searching because it exudes potential. It may not work despite the solid foundation but a strong foundation makes you worthy, fit for one's fare. Fit for one's time, fit for investment. Fit for an earnest effort and undivided attention. Your way of thinking is a great damper to the constant cycle of damaged goods that fail to properly function in future relationships, slashes wasted time, and STDs. More than less know this...less than more apply this. Acting on impulses only, concerned with today with no thought for tomorrow. Confusing spontaneity and fun with inconsistency and inconsideration for protocol. I wish all both genders thought as you do. People like you revitalize my hope when I feel hopeless, and I get that 2nd wind to push through discouragements and keep going. Really glad your channel popped up in my recommended section.

Susan, great video! I always say at the beginning that I am needy and high maintenance and honestly - guys still want me, there is no difference in their commitment level. In practice, this means of course that 90% of guys drop out straightaway but those 10% who stay are true and real potential (for a boyfriend or at least a friend). And this saves me time. If somebody is truly attracted to you (I would say as a package not just physically), they will conform bcs the attraction is not a choice. Look at Price Harry and George Clooney - both of these bachelors commited within a short period of time; I don't think that their partners (both great women btw) were waiting in silence to express what they really want from the relationship or hanging as a second best in some sort of triangle. Thank you for your work, Susan. All the best from London!

At the end I disrespected myself and that really hurts, its taking me time to heal and although its been sometime since that happened Im still recovering my dignity. I came to the same conclusion and said it, why would we give someone time to show them we are worth being with!!!!!!!? Agree with all this however, it’s possible that someone can’t choose because they genuinely love two people and are very confused and distraught, not because they are playing any games or are interested in anyone else other than those two. I suppose that is different than the dating around thing you are speaking of. Just a thought. I’d like to see a video on that other possibility. Perfect timing for this...i ended the triangle but I had to use harsh measures because I have had a,hard time walking away. So, knowing I can't walk away I will do something to make sure they walk away. No nothing violent. Just check mated him at his own game. Nothing has felt so good as this. I took my power back and put him in his place....

I’m 50 and was in a LDR with my first foreigner bf. We worked in the same company and met him Jan 2015. No attraction then. June 2016 he sent me a message and boom! Very intense connection. Agreed to be his gf 10/2017. Agreement was open relationship leaning towards polyamory. But his style was different, there’s no honesty and transparency. I didn’t know that dating an American can be THAT complicated 😊 I’ve learnt new terms like love bombing, simmering, and his line with me “ I feel like I’m a placeholder “ (this really confuses me and he will not explain why he’s feeling that way). He came to visit 2/14. Left him in his hotel the following night for he was chatting with another woman.

I found out my (former?) crush has a gf, but I'm not as upset as I thought I imagined/ moved on fairly quickly. And more so, because I became more comfortable talking to him, we can still talk like friends. Now, because I'm not trying to impress him/not scare him off, it's a lot less nerve wracking. It would be nice to be really good friends with him (the amount of guy friends I have are lacking and he would be a good choice to have as a supportive friend), but I'm already thinking of who I may meet next winter term in class :) TL;DR I realized I don't think I'm the type of person who has patience for any love triangle scenario. And I'm not interested in being a homewrecker

Any Christians in this chat ? Well , I am man, and I have been in the wrong end of this kind of treatment. And it was from a "church lady", I honestly thought she was decided and very straight forward only to end up in this mess. I am a very forward person so I approached her with confidence. Immediately I noticed this , I decided to ghost her. Then I got convicted to tell her to her face, I arranged for a date and bought her a gift and clearly stated i am done with this , now she calls and we have those awkward conversations. But it's all over , i have moved on and soon I'm going to get married to a wonderful lady who was meant for me. 😇

Thanks Susan I've very recently had this situation . The first month of dating it was wonderful he liked me so much then I made a mistake by questioning him about his pictures with his ex on fb . I was severely criticised & we didn't speak , we started again but after a few days he had gone cold & it was never the same , then he didn't want to settle for the second woman since his split with his ex , then lots of women on a dating site were liking him but I had been warned he didn't like jealousy . Finally we were just friends because he wanted to talk to other women & I wasn't able. to say a thing . I asked where we stood he said he thought he 60% wanted to be with me but maybe I'm too sweet for him, 30_% wanted another woman , 5% wanted to talk to others & 5 % wanted to be alone. I was invited to things with him but only as a friend but his friends thought I was his partner . I've finally confronted him again about it & now I'm childish & naive , he has really put me through it all I feel so broken , it was the classic I'm insecure & he won't take criticism. He blocked me then unblocked me in case I needed his help , whereas I never want to speak to him again & am left to pick up The pieces .

Hi Susan, thank you so much for your gift of advice. You are truly one of a kind! Question, is this considered a love triangle, a relationship where exclusivity has been established; but you find out that your partner is still playing the field with one particular person? After addressing them; is it okay to reach out to the other person involved, to make them aware?
@SusanWinter

Brian Gonsalez hi Brian. I’m Sorry to read your message. You were involved in deception- the triangle is simply the ‘other person.’ I’d walk away entirely, but after I called out the liar in detail. And no, I would not reach out to the other person.

Some men don't want a monogomous relationship. We can't judge someone for the type of relationship they want. The problem is that some men are not honest from the beginning that they want to date multiple people with no intensions of settling down. So many males are lacking maturity in today's world. Some of this applies to females too but more often males.

Guys..I need help. Is this a love triangle..? So..I had a relationship 2 years ago with a boy that a year after with him, pulled a prank on me on how he doesn’t really like me anymore and likes someone else, and I broke up with him because I didn’t want a relationship where my loved one likes another girl..so after 1 year,I moved on. My ex and I are still friends to this day,and we have each others number. And we play video games with eachother. So again,I moved on. And now I have a new boyfriend. But we barely talk. (Because of corona virus) and when we do,its like he’s the only person that makes me smile. So today I was playing video games with my ex and he told me he still liked me and I was shook. He told me it was all a prank and it went horribly and he still wants me back. Idk what to do because he was an amazing person, but my current boyfriend makes my day..please give recommendations. If you read this. Thanks.

I was looking for a coach. And I wasn't sure who, but I think I've found her, YES! I agree and I am the same way about this, are you in or out. I feel like that is just not cool to play with people's emotions. But most of all you have to teach people how to treat you and if they are not interested, do not respect your time, then to the LEFT. Do you know though when I firm up, they ALWAYS, and I mean ALWAYS try to come back weeks, months or even years later texting me. Seriously, I lost the number. And I've already moved on. ....I'm like who is this?

I'm in a half (I guess) love triangle. I moved to the UK from Texas two months ago. My new best friend just said she has a crush on me. I don't like her back though. I like her brother... So I said no. The week later her brother said he likes me and I like him too! Only problem is that my friend and her brother have a super close relationship, and if we tell her, I think she will hate us...

@@SusanWinter hi Susan my situation is very strange I live with my girlfriend who I found out began seeing her ex when confronted about it she explained she’s in love with both of us and says she couldn’t bare to live with out me . She went on to say that I’m missing key components to be with me only . This makes no sense to me . At all

@@erikharris6682 take it at face value Erik. If you love two people it means neither one is your complete package. My advice is to evacuate. You will be worth more when she cannot have you. And when she only sees the other man, her ex, without you to fill in his weak and missing links, she will have a change of heart. But I still wouldn't trust the outcome. I wish you well.
