I received enough criticism until finally I decided to quit my job, I did not quit yet, but I am planning to soon but I am scouting for new better jobs first. The only advantage of excessive criticisms is that it makes you review and reevaluate your whole job as a concept, not your performance but your job itself can contain a lot of flaws but you did not notice them because you were too comfortable to see them. Life is hard and tricky.
@myemmotion

In this video I was referring to dealing with feedback which is constructive. The feedback which isn't constructive, and which is given you by someone who clearly doesn't want it to be helpful, should be taken completely differently. Is your boss that is giving you hard times?

EMMOTION by Marat My Boss is supportive but I am working with five consultants in a clinic and they are not happy about my performance and some of them want to transfer me to another section. I am scouting for ways to escape my job to another, do you agree?
@myemmotion
4 жыл бұрын
@@Hossam_1993 Having a boss who is supportive is actually a huge plus at any role. How long have you been working there for? Are you happy with the job itself? Do you think these consultants are right about your performance? If you feel that they are right and that you might need to work harder in certain areas or to learn something new, etc.; then escaping to another job is not a solution. Some colleagues can be negative to newbies at work due to many reasons, these issues are usually temporary and tend to fade away. If the job itself is not making you happy then that is another story!
@Hossam_1993

EMMOTION by Marat These consultants are kinda right since I am easily distracted, but some of the flaws they pointed at were overrated. Like when they said those staff who arrived after me are far better than me without comparison!! I could not correlate it with reality since two of them were learning from me. The fact that they are taking bad impression is a red flag to me since impressions are hard to change. In addition, in my job I dont feel like a decision maker, instead a decision follower. I only follow orders and policies of the superiors which means there is no creativity in what I do. I want a job that gives me meaningful presence, I feel like a slave. By the way do you do Skype session? I am interested in talking to you.

As long as you receive feedback which is constructive, say "thank you" and apply whatever the feedback is to your day to day. @myemmotion

I am really sorry you are going through that. It's something that we don't usually notice until it is directly related to us. The majority of companies do their best to make employees drive the company through the tough times, but it is never the other way around. Once the restructuring takes place, the employees who overworked and who gave so much to the company can be easily let go. Which is why it's important to keep our own priorities in mind. @@myemmotion everyone says that I’m doing a great job except the GM. Every week we get the ratings and every week I get horrible reviews. I observed coworkers with the highest scores and see if I can learn something, but no. I do the exactly same thing and honestly didn’t know what else to do. I have worked with the GM, but seems like when we work the same schedule almost everything goes wrong for me. I do everything it’s expected of me. I’m the first one to come in for my shift and the last one to go. Always have a very positive attitude, but nothing seems to work. During training they focus on sanitation and safety which obviously it’s great to learn all that to have a safe work environment for staff and guests, but there’s a whole a lot that you don’t go completely thorough or at all. When the GM is there and I ask a question when I’m not sure how to proceed the reply I get is “Didn’t you go through training?”. And just go and fix it and really don’t explain how I can do it, just gets it done. It was very frustrating. 😐
