All notes are waiting for you as a downloadable PDF booklet on Patreon: www.patreon.com/posts/71407878 In this Music Theory and songwriting tutorial, we find all the possible ways to harmonize a single note G using Diatonic chords, Chromatic triads, Seventh chords, and Extensions (Jazz tensions). Using the methods covered in this lesson, can then apply the same principle to any key and create chords for melodies like never before!

Outstanding class thank you, you’re the best! I’ve been writing my own music now and am making my own music, at 54 it’s never too late. I’ve watched all your videos and learned so much. I’m finally doing (some) inversions instead of ALWAYS root positions, makes a difference and I have you Jason to thank. Greetings from Miami.

Good afternoon. Just a doubt that occurred in my mind after watching this video and that is, in a scale is it not that all the notes can generate a triplet chord? And that suits the scale, is'nt it? And when we take 'G' as in this video which scale do we play, G minor or G major? May be both as we are taking so many other chords? Just help me erase my confusion. Thanks.
@nathanielschool

Didn't understand your question Krishna. Perhaps you need to join one of our workshops at the school where we address student queries real-time over video! That might be most helpful in these specific cases. You can reach us at www.nathanielschool.com

Most intermediate learners could probably find all possible combinations of g.... if you show some creative ways to use these combinations and how to produce some good music by using it. Would be more helpful

@Youcacademy You should go ahead with his patreon subscription, I'm sure you'll find your solution there, instead of criticizing someone's effort and hardwork, which you'll surely make money out of teaching some others. Though you're learning it for free . If you can't appreciate, it'll be kind enough stop watching his videos.. the knowledge he shares helps so many different people out there. Which you have no idea of, looks like !! No offense, be kind, or request about your query. Instead of asking him to produce good music. Which you yourself have come to learn here.. LoL The lessons he's offering on KZitem, you'll hardly understand on some other channels. He's an amazing teacher !!

@@parikshithkotiyan when some thing is in public domain..there will be genuine criticism... Learn to accept it as feedback or inputs... Im subscriber to his channel. Im here to learn....He is a good tutor..and produces some nice videos... Doesnt mean there can be no constructive criticism... Do you mean to say only those who say "wah sir ji" Should watch his videos?... Any one has a criticism for a video should stop watching him altogather? Im sure even json would not agree with your views. And remember... Nothing is free... Im not watching videos free... KZitem makes me watch ads...it consumes my time..and pays the content creator... im paying through the time i spend watching ads..you seem to value time less thn money.. And even if it was reall free in essence ... Still it doesnt bind every one to always appreciate and expect absolute positive feedback only Following does not apply to json (he produces nice content)... but just to make concept clear to u..."Running free kitchen does not give you right to serve stale food...
