If You’re familiar with previous JRPG’s especially those from ATLUS, The grinding in the demo is nothing but a grain of salt. With 40 different archetypes, the cost of crossing abilities, upgrading gear multiplied by the amount of party members we have yet to encounter, “maxing out the demo” meant you’re preparing for a start.

"You won't be able to beat the dungeon boss unless you grind" I beat it on hard and I skipped half the goblin fights, was avg level 10. It just takes smart use of the knight synthesis skills to nullify phys damage, and use the back row for people who aren't protected, and likely some mp/health items. It was really satisfying seeing how much strategy potential there was even so early. You should encourage people to try clear dungeons in one go since it gives you more daily time.

I didn't know until I posted this video how, if you truly understand the combat system, you can conquer many high-level fights!!! I love games that are like this!!! Also, I agree with you that it's better to do the dungeon in one go. That's what I did with Persona 5, haha

yeah some enemies has no weaknesses. one of the tips granted was like p5. those enemies are more susceptible to status effects like stuns. and advise you to keep stunning arrows on hand. a personal tips make the most out of your days. some things are always available, other only every other day or in weekends. advance in dungeons the most you can in a single dive. dont save it for the last day, clearing the main dungeon typically unlocks more social/ overworld activities. keep lvled weapons from other classes. something i failed to do in my demo. i did not buy weapons for mage and seeker nor had spares and said dungeon became touch and go. if i dont kill them in one turn. they will kill me with 5 aoe attacks that crits. keep extra saves. for the occasion you want to back track or wasted your day.

Mage's Passive is a insane boon to stay in Dungeons for very long times. If you have Mage on the MC and kill enemies in overworld combat instead of turn based, you regain Mana. Which you can loop to inifinitly stay and farm a DNG or deep dive it all at once.

The leveling system is more similar to SMT than to Persona, so you will probably be able to farm incenses and other stat-boosting items in the late game. This may be a bit tedious, but should mean that you can “fix” any mistakes you made in your build during the course of the game (i.e. have a magic build but want to pivot to a strength one). Also, even if your protagonist has a strength build, I recommend having mage on him since the hero-specific passive of healing SP by stunning and beating enemies on the overworld is by far the best one and can help a lot to be better prepared for bosses and depend less on consumables (as you can always use the healing skills of the protag and hulkenberg to heal your HP and then simply defeat more enemies to heal the SP).

so what do you think, is it better to focus on conversations with companions first or do other activities... and during conversations or activities do we have something like in persona 5, i.e. musical notes, the better the conversation, the more points you get... I ask because I haven't played the demo and I'm trying to learn as little about this game as possible to have as much fun during the premiere
@Gamendx
2 күн бұрын
This is a great and difficult question haha This might be a copout answer, but it is a balance based on what is needed at the moment. For example: If you need to unlock a quest by raising your virtues, then I'd recommend doing that first, but then once you have met all the virtue requirements, probably spend a few days talking to allies, followed by doing a 1 for 1. For the most part, by the end of Persona 5 Royal, I had all my traits maxed out with plenty of time to spare. As long as you aren't spending an entire 10 days doing 1 activity, you'll be fine. Each time you raise a virtue a level, it takes more experience to get it to level 3, so maybe wait until there's a more rewarding activity later in the game and concentrate on the level 1 virtues. To answer your other question about what I've noticed with the musical notes, yes, they do give you more or less based on your answers. Sorry for the huge rant haha

@@Gamendx I did do it on normal, the climb down is brutal. They aren't kidding when they say not to fight everything. I even did it without the special spear before the boss, I backtracked after to loot it and face palmed. Level 12 party. Strat I used per turn was MC take all attacks for allies. Red haired elf def spear down combo, gain two press turns. Free turn to heal MC from ally with a medicine. MC use defense option. Enemy turn. Make sure MC has best defensive options from equips. Doing anything else would result in single digit dmg or 40ish from magic. I don't see a reason why it wouldn't work on hard.

@@GrimHeaperThe Hard he gets 2 attacks per turn, I didn't bother with taunt because it didn't help with the aoe attack ability he had. the null phys synth skill was crucial because it would take away his second attack if he triggered it, and let people with it stay in front row and attack safely. Also a lot of praying he didn't use his aoe too much, but if he did it just meant more healing/mp use
