Your videos are just what I needed to get to 5.0, are what I have been looking for. I have been watching your videos daily, some many times, and I have been kicking butt on the courts. Thank you.

Great video. At one point I saw you use a two handed backhand volley and it made we wonder how it applies to a two hander. Specifically a two hander is basically two forehands. But then the two handed side has no coverage advantage or does it?
@pickleballplaybook

More stability with two hands, more reach with one. Two hands is great for offensive defense (countering). One hand is great for defensive defense (resetting). 👍

Great explanations and examples with pros. I think you have a real talent for this with explanations that are more digestible. I also put in my vote for landscape for future videos. Thanks and keep the videos coming!

50%…the other is preparation. A person with average to above average hands can get good if they learn the right mechanics.

Really good information explained in a way that finally sinks in with me. I've been focused on the 11 o'clock ready position and think the upward 12 might work better for me. And I find my self stabbing and missing resets because I'm taking a large swing. And the footwork I'm really going to focus on, so really great points. But this may sound silly, but is there anything exercise or drill you can recommend to help catch the ball as it's coming off my opponents paddle. I swear I got this blind spot and lose the ball at contact and next thing I know is I see the ball 2 ft away from me and stabbing at it to react.
