As someone who has eczema I can honestly say the itch is the worst for me. It gets so bad sometimes it bleeds. I found out that your washing detergent for your clothes also play a role in your skin. I mean, if you think about it when you wear clothes there in contact with your skin. I found using detergent that are non bio and formulated more to babies are the best as there more gentle on my skin. Avoid anything that's too perfumed too as this can irritate your skin too.🙏🏻

vanicream also works wonders!! it's a little bit expensive but definitely worth it. I used to use Ivory soap but because of my eczema I switched and their bar of soap and it made a complete difference. my skin went from being flaky, peeling and bleeding to being hydrated, smooth, and healed. I also used their ointment after my showers which really locks in moisture. and it's scent free!!

@@embraceislamandeventuallyy1006 my eczema was so bad to the point where the side of my neck would burn, the back of my knees and inside of my arms would would itch and peel constantly, the skin around my eyes got patchy, (and a bit of a TMI but even my breasts were affected to the point where they were sore, peeling and because I was so itchy, they'd bleed). I basically replaced anything I used on my body with vanicream products (except shampoo and conditioner as it was not needed). I use their bar soap, lotion, face wash(I later changed to curology due to acne but it's ingredients didn't irritate my skin at all), ointment (the jar looks similar to the lotion just with a grey cap, this help me to STAY moisturized for a long time and heal my eczema), I also use their SPF 50 sunscreen which I'm thinking of changing since it leaves a bit of a white cast. I used the body wash for some time but I realized that it was kind of unnecessary for me to buy since I was using the bar soap.(tbh you can use the body wash as the face wash because the ingredients are almost exactly the same, the body was is just a bigger container). I haven't stopped using vanicream products so I don't know if my eczema will come back if I switch products, however it got rid of my eczema completely and I feel completely fine. I think it's something about scented products or products with a lot of ingredients that made me get eczema so I stopped using scented body wash and that seemed to have helped. in summary, I definitely recommend that you give it a try because I saw a difference in my skin within 2 weeks(it wasn't fully healed up but I definitely saw the progress) and now I'm only using the bar soap and moisturizers and I feel great!

FINALLY! I’m allergic to the sun (not sure if it’s an allergy or skin condition) and people constantly tell me it’s fake. My skin will get the worst burns in the world and tons of red dots, and I already have extremely sensitive skin. I luckily don’t have eczema tho, but the burns are terrible. It’s soo itchy and looks horrible. I’m regularly exposed to the sun, and tbh I should do a better job covering up to prevent burns. Plus most sunscreens don’t work effectively so my arms are so messed up from the rashes 😭. I’ve tried so much skincare and am pretty much broke from it bc it’s so expensive but they won’t heal, and it’s becoming an insecurity. My arms are red and might even be scarred. If anyone has any suggestions please tell me, it would really mean a lot!

I'm allergic to the sun.... I started to have this issue around 7 years ago and everyone thought I was exxagerating. They said to just wear sunscreen but it wasn't enough. My symptoms got worse to the point that even in the winter my face would swell, my lips would swell and crack in reacting to a allergic reaction and my face would harden in such a painful way, sometimes I wouldn't be able to speak cuz my face would harden, bleed and all I could do is have tears in my eyes 🥲. My parents slowly took me serious but my blood reports didn't show it. My doctor finally diagnosed me as having polymorphic light sensitive, which is similar to eruption. Even if I cover up and wear sunscreen or even remain near a closed window, I can get bad reactions. But I reduce how much I got out now so my flare ups are not too bad.... I'm only saying this because I know there's probs others who are feeling like they're odd for being the only ones who are suffering. Hopefully my experience will help others: only ways to help ease pain is ice packs, sunscreen, cats, moisturiser(cetaphil), regular body wash with unscented soap and just avoid trying to be in the sun for long times. It seems basic but there really isn't much we can do. Much love xx😊😊 Edit: I just realised it is polymorphic light eruption, thing is I don't don't have it bad on my body as I'm always covered up, except my face n hands
