i am 14 140 pounds 5'9'' This is helping bc I try my best to lead my team to victory and through some loss that we might have as well, i am very good with accuracy but my main problem is that I hesistate to throw it a lot, and I think being able to read defenses will help me alot with that bc then I will be more confident with my throws and also knowing routes better should help me a lot on my journey to the top of football, It is gonna be rough but i am gonna give it all my time, all my effort, and all my strength, and if I do that, with talent for the postition, I will make it, and I am determined that I will make it, and all I need to do is BELIEVE

Not sure who the target audience is, but this appears to be for maybe Pop Warner level QBs, so why use NFL film? I heard him say "all these Madden coverages", yet only applied basic coverages. No Cov 5? 8? Middle robber? Can't just say "man coverage" without identifying 1, 1 Robber, Spy, 0, all of which you will see in High School. These are NFL teams. Reducing what they're doing to basics and finishing with "QBs need to read the defense!" doesn't help much.
@Performancelabofcalifornia
2 жыл бұрын
Was just supposed to be a basics video. Show that NFL runs basic coverages just like high school. Most quarterbacks struggle with just identifying the flat defender.. difference between 1 robber and spy would be too much to add into one video

You don't teach QBs a pre-snap read? If teach them to read the number and depth of safeties the alignment of the Mike LB you can have him anticipate the coverage and pick the side of the field he is going to attack.

i think you should take a little more time to identify who you are talking about when you say 'these guys and these guys', etc. not trying to be a dick, but you are a little quick and it's a little confusing. usually it's not hard to see and understand what you mean even though it's not clear, but if you just slowed down and took more time to emphasize which players you are pointing out, i think it would be a little better for your channel. im not a player, just an nfl fan hoping to better identify stuff im watching in games. also, this is just my impression off of only seeing one video. i wonder if madden would be a useful tool for these breakdowns since you can move the camera around; not sure what the rules are but i'm pretty sure in-game footage is 'fair use', so i think it shouldn't be a problem. just get the PC game and a basic screen capture tool (Fraps?) or connect your console game's video output to your PC. hope this helps, thanks for the video.

How do you identify if someone is a safety, corner or linebacker
@Performancelabofcalifornia
Жыл бұрын
Alignment.. Linebackers are generally in the box and off the ball. Could also be lined up as slots and are thick bodied. Safeties are 8-15 yards off the ball. Usually tall and lean. Could roll down and play with the linebackers which can be studied beforehand. Corners typically line up over the wide receivers pressed up or up to 7 yards off the ball. Usually amongst the fastest players on the field.
