This video should have more likes. It was informative and did not have extraneous talking. The presenter is also elegant. My regards from Weimar, Germany.

Thank you. Now I know what I planted 10 years ago... a Silver Maple. Its already at least 15 ft tall. Thank you for your informative video ❤

Best maple video. Can you also review the leaves during Autumn foliage? I love the sugar, silver, Norway Maples but they are too big for front patio and drive way with invasive roots, only great for parks, lakes ,highway, and huge backyard.

thank you! IDK if it's reliable to go by but I learned and noticed around my area the Norway Maple also has these like, tips, at the end that are like a strand or pointy hair. Where-as Sugar Maple is pointy overall at the end maybe but a little more rounded at the very very tip. Sorry if you mentioned this and I missed it. Although it was harder to see in the purple leaf at the end.

Like Pokemon but with maples... Yes! If we can condition our children to find pleasure in learning and if we can elevate true heros (scientists, social leaders, authors, teachers, etc.) instead of "superheroes" we will be able to progress greatly as a species and protect this beautiful utopia we call Earth.

I've always been curious, is there any pattern to when Japanese maples produce 5/7/9-lobed leaves? Similarly, is it by tree (this tree has all five-lobed, that one has all seven-lobed, etc) or by individual leaf?
