Looking at getting a used 47rh/47re/48re transmission and you're not sure what you're looking at? Or maybe you're selling/rebuilding yours and want to know what its got? This video is just what you need!
Assuming you have the transmission out of the truck I show you how to identify if it has a billet input shaft, output, aftermarket billet single or triple disc torque converter, and billet internal parts (should you pull the pan off). If the transmission is still in the truck I point out how to identify what torque converter it may have as well as point out some things to look for if its been rebuilt.
My goal with this video is to inform you about these things in the hope that it prevents you from getting scammed/buying things you didnt need/getting a fair price for your transmission/or simply learning something new!
