Have you considered exporting a Fiat Multipla to the USA? That would be a blast...

In 2009 I imported 4 old VWs from Brazil. It took 18 months and was an administrative nightmare, with lots of unexpected costs. Very stressful. Never again!

Heated seats didn’t really become common until like the last 10-15 years so it wouldn’t have been common for those cars to have it.

8:55 that's bc the turnsignal and the day running lights are the same bulb... and day running lights can't we amber in the Netherlands... The turnsignal can be amber or white, so that's why they changed it to white

If i were ever able to, would import a Crown Victoria to australia myself, have liked them & the variations (Grand Marquis, Marauder etc) for a fair while now. Do remember seeing one for sale here in some car classified magazine back in 2003, the closest to seeing one here. But yes, getting cars imported to wherever overseas would be a lengthy process, with some cases being more of a pain in various countries too. And that is a nice Grand Marquis he has there too i'll say

Very enjoyable interview. It reminded me of my weird dream of importing an Alfa Milano from the US back here to Italy... Not because it would make sense, but simply for the adventure of doing it. The one thing that scares me the most about importing American-spec Alfas back to Italy is the fact they got two VINs, which tends to spook authorities and create legal issues...

Some people import British motorcycles from USA back to UK as they are so much cheaper there, even allowing for shipping costs.

That was interesting about the rear indicator colour as I had guessed that would have been one of the items that needed changing. USA seems to have unique rules for vehicle lighting.
