Great video. Your the first person I've heard say to start with your lure 8 to 12 inches from the rod tip. I've always done that. It's the best way to control the cast for me. Good stuff 👍

Wow thank you so much for this instructional video I am completely new to bass fishing. In a couple of weeks I’m getting ready to throw my first line in the water. I really appreciate your advice and will solo them when I go out to start this new journey!
