Great episode lads. I'm based in Dublin in Ireland but have been restricted now from 3 UK bookies. Max bets of under 10 euro on most markets. No real concise reason given to me too when talking to the staff online. Seems to be from my political bets on the US election. Wasn't even that much of a win. I also think these 3 bookmakers are all subsidiaries under the same bigger organization so makes sense. Although 2 weeks ago, another big UK separate bookie reduced my staking. Saying this to me when I inquired : " Having performed a review of your account , our The Trading Dept have made a conscious decision that it is no longer economically viable to accept your desired level of business, explaining the reduced staking opportunities that you are now experiencing." At least i have a few left going strong! Love Neil's analogy of the grinder. Have my spreadsheet for accountability. Hopefully gambling restrictions will not get too carried away with what is happening in the industry today. As it will eventually take the enjoyment of the hobby away from us, as Nigel spoke about

I'm restricted from probably about 30. There are lots of bookies out there but once you start taking value they will take your accounts unfortunately.

I like Neil's thinking on being a grinder and not doing things differently just due to poor results in the short term, but there's a fine line between being consistent and trusting your process and realising that actually the game changes over time and we will all have to change with it if we want to keep being profitable. Would be good to have some discussion on how you know you're doing the right things and you don't need to change even when the luck isn't going in your favour.

Just agree with everyone else really best betting podcast by a mile! I wonder if you could ask Neil what he thinks of Teasers on the NFL. I’ve just discovered them and I sure Neil has an opinion. Cheers lads

Spot on about betting shops, they should be what pubs are to responsible drinking. Everyone's always gutted when a pub closes but not so when a betting shop closes. Probably didn't used to be the case.

I would love to hear Neil's thoughts on the former Jacksonville Jags employee who embezzled millions to gamble and play daily fantasy with a company here in the US. He is suing for the site $250m for coercion and exploitation - some of their VIP account management practices are...interesting.

Also . Calling betting "beneficial is a bit ofa stretch from Neil in a respectful way...the public have an average iq(that number isn't everything buuut) and need protection from a predatory world

I'm starting to feel a bit sorry for Nigel. I like his stories but they usually get interrupted by Neil and he takes over the conversation. Nigel very rarely gets to finish his anecdotes in one chunk - it's always bitty. The interesting betting shop story was another classic example. C'mon Neil - you need to chill more. However, I can't defend Nigel on that Rune bet. Putting hard-earned on Rune at the moment is absolutely batsh** crazy.

@@joebloggs-h1i he was awful today Rune - the logic was right as Fritz now takes on Goffin who beat an injured Zverev and Djokovic is very beatable .

@@BecauseWeWin He's been awful a lot this season and has no titles. 25/1 is tempting but the logic is to avoid. He's obviously an amazing player but I wouldn't bet on the guy until he's got his coaching problems sorted out.
