Is trhere any reason to go Dorsch Stg 2 on a stock turbo? I thought the TU pump was sufficient until you upgrade your turbo.
@skrrtproductions

Yeah it’s sufficient and not necessary to go Dorch, but technically Dorch produces more flow and is safer

The crowfoot socket should be positioned at 90 degrees on the wrench before you start to torque the fittings on the fuel pump and the railing.

Do you have to take out your aftermarket CarPlay when re-flashing??
@skrrtproductions
2 жыл бұрын
Yeah per Protuning Freaks themselves. It interferes with the flashing process. I’ve heard it work for some ppl but I don’t want to take the chance. One day I’ll upgrade the head unit haha

@@hogerg dang that’s nice though haha. Wouldn’t be the end of the world, you’d just have to have PTF “un-brick” the ECU which they’re only available during business hours and could take a couple hours to do at most. So you’d def need a battery tender

Did you trim the engine cover to fit the DS2 fuel line?

No I didn’t. Probably need to but I haven’t yet. Just don’t have the engine cover pushed in on that one corner

Good video but this pump is completely useless on a stock turbo , it’s only beneficial when your running a hybrid turbo and a custom tune with flex fuel, otherwise you’re not gonna gain any power from it at all ,the TU pump will make more sense on a stock turbo and flex fuel.
@skrrtproductions

You have a point, but it’s definitely not the same performance as a tu pump on stock turbo. Or else, why would there be different options when selecting which pump you have for the stage 2+ tune? Because the dorch stage 2 HPFP has the most flow. More flow, more fuel, more power. But agreed, TU pump is all you really need on stock turbski
