I remember in my electrical cert training they did not want them soldered because it was a stiff brittle connection, but there is a better crimp and seal connector. When I put mine on I ran the fuel line the same way, only thing I didn't like was the filter hanger is kinda low and little worried about it catching. I mounted my relays under the back seat for better access.

I heard the same thing about not soldering connections. I feel like it could be more important to not solder when its a full out racecar. Have you had any issues with the fuel filter being too low?

Yup they told up the same thing. Said there was another option in the fashion of crimp seal connections. Always wondered why but it made sense.

Damn good video! I referred back many times! I might of missed it but, did you put back the fuel pump access cap, the black one? And if so did you just make room for the wire by bending the sheet metal? Thanks!

Thanks! I mentioned it at 48:08. I did reinstall the cover, i just bent it a bit to clear the wires.

To bend the fuel tank tab? I didn't buy anything specific. Most any pliers will do.
