Short update from my side (as the video was released more than two weeks ago). Still no problems with my setup. I now also did some max weight pull ups etc. with some more weight and it was working absolutely fine - but of course this will also depend on your door frame, not just the rockbaseFlex. If you have questions about it, just drop a comment here or write me on instagram ;)

Next update from my side: So far, I still did not have a problem with it. I have mainly been using it for deadhangs and max weight pull ups (as well as assisted pull ups with a pulley system)

Thanks a lot. That was the main reason for releasing it now. Originally I would have preferred to do it later after having gained more experiences with it. But I thought it could be helpful for some people out there. And so far I am still happy about it.

Aren't you afraid of the decorative moulding falling off? The moulding is nailed in by thin bradley nails. A friend split his knee cap in half trying to do pull-up on a similar design. I feel awfully uncomfortable pulling on the moulding. Any issues so far?

Thank you for this video! I ended up purchasing a rockbaseFlex. It arrived today and it is amazing! I don't think I would have ever known the rockbaseFlex existed if it weren't for your video.

@@choongching Hi, sorry, I missed your comment. The URL is: shop.smartrock.de/türhalterungen.html. However, the shop is only in German so far but they write on their page that they ship world wide. You can contact them here: info@smartrock.de. I can at least confirm that they deliver from Germany to Switzerland (where I lived at the time when I did this video). Sorry for the late answer. Let me know if I can help you with something. Just realised now that you wrote a separate comment to which I answered. I will keep this one here in case somebody else does not see your other comment ;-)

Hi, how can we order rockbaseFlex boards online? I tried to google it but I do not see any online stores selling it. Let me know what you think, thanks!

Hi, I just checked on their website. It seems the webshop is only available in german (as I am german this was not a problem for me). However, you can write them a mail with your order. They have written there that they ship everywhere in the world: info@smartrock.de. Let me know if I can somehow help you.

Hi, my door frame is just about 1 to 1.5 mm thick. Do you think this construction will be stable with this small door frame? Best regards
@boulderfighters2590

Hi, I think its best if you contact smart rock (smartrock.de/unternehmen/support-anfrage/) to be on the safe side. Usually, they answer pretty quickly. If I am not mistaken, 1.5mm should still be ok but don't take my word for granted :-D See smartrock.de/en/mounting-systems/rockbaseflex/ There you can see the requirements. But as I mentioned, to be safe better contact them. For instance, for my door frames, the measurements did not fit 100% perfectly but I clarified this with them and I gave it a shot. Good luck!

Thanks. Yes, it was important to me to mention alternatives. I did not want to make to video to sell that product but to show it to people who are in a similar situation so that they can profit from it.

What size screws/tnuts did you use to hang the beastmaker 1000?

I ordered the screws/tnuts from them too (as they also sell the fitting screws/tnuts), thus, I don't know by heart. But I can try to measure it if you want to :D

@@boulderfighters2590 That would be helpful if you have time! I didn't even realize they sold set screws till you mentioned it haha. Would have bought them as well. Sadly the shipping to the US took 2 months due to covid so I'm a little worried to order the screws from them.

@@jamesmoore3304 Hehe, I can imagine. I just did a short search as my RockbaseFlex and the Beastmaker are currently at a friends place so that he can train on it :D (as at our place the gyms are still open and we can still train and boulder at the gyms). I found this: www.beastmaker.co.uk/products/beastmaker-1000-series There they mention the size of the screws. But I can also contact smart rock and ask them about their size of the screws and the t-nuts.
