@kevinfleming9919

@@jovandievski9116 "draught" and "condensation". Not only are you a bigot, apparently you are an uneducated one as well. For all your generations of construction experience you couldn't even notice that was an interior wall that has no insulation in it preventing airflow and has no need for protection from "clashing airflows", in a climate controlled house, making condensation in the wall. Media wall boxes from companies like Legrand and Leviton, just to name a couple, are designed with venting along the vertical plane of the media box to allow airflow and heat dissipation and the extremely tiny amount of heat that unit will produce won't be affected by that enclosure at all. I can only guess that your limited knowledge of construction going on "across the pond" is from watching low budget TV shows on the Telly, but you've definitely never seen any of the houses and buildings that our company and all the contractors that I've worked with have been building for generations. The weather systems and earthquakes that we experience in the States are more extreme than in the UK, which is where I'm guessing you're from by your misspelling of the Draft term Draught, and our houses have to be built to a higher standard and quality over here. Although I have seen some nice quality built ones, most of the houses I've been inside of in the UK would never pass code and inspections if they were built in the States.

@@Rancid_Ninja I think saying that a TV of this size isn’t for the (edit)“main” watching TV is a total cop out. Why do they bother with all the inputs and sport modes and high refresh rates. They could make it 1/4 the price if it’s primary purpose is for displaying static art. Samsungs software is total junk, it’s menus are slow and clunky, for its size and price it’s panel is one of the lowest spec in the market, and they are asking for money within the menus to use features. No thanks. The only good thing about this “TV” is the slim design. That’s where it stops. But I don’t agree with your excuse for it’s terrible cost vs performace. Can’t imagine people spending this sort of money to simply display art in the average home.

@@ibsn87 we tell people quite often there are much better picture tvs available for less that don't do the art, that TV is specifically for the art gimmick. Also they really aren't all that thin, just close to the wall due to the mount it comes with. any brand OLED is going to be thinner, the LG gallery series would be a much better option if you want thin and super tight against the wall

@@ibsn87 the people that buy these for the art typically are in a new build HOA home 400-800k home with fuck you money and they put them above their fireplace that is either decorative stone or tile, and they will have another TV in the basement or a different living room or family room that will be the actual "watching TV" tv

@@Goosewitdajuice317 if you have the budget and either a dark room or good shades/blinds I recommend the LG c2 or newest c3, g series is nice but isn't worth the price difference for a good TV for watching TV and movies. These tvs do have a bit of glare so a room with a bunch of windows without shades will be harder to watch but they are in my opinion the best consumer TV available currently
