I hate now much the wideband cost compared to your ECU. I've looked at some more DIY wideband options but haven't found anything I'd be super comfortable with.

josh bishop Yeah I built a few widebands and they usually come out to the same price if you build it yourself. Now I did find a decent quality wideband controller for $75 with datalogging outputs (0-5V), but it did not include a gauge so you would need some sort of datalogging setup or standalone ECU that can use the analog output. I personally wanted to have a gauge just to make sure I had the right configuration settings for the datalogger as well as making it easier to see while tuning since I can hold it easier than a laptop. Eventually I plan to have it displayed on a tablet dashboard. I actually bought everything except the gauge for my AWD Mini and borrowed the gauge from my Genesis coupe since they're the same controller and I plan to remove the gauge from the Mini anyway. Saved about $45 I think doing it that way

There is the SLC Free2 for $45USD and a cheap LSU4.9 from a car yard, but even the whole thing with controller and new LSU4.9 is only $95. I've been using it for 6mths and it does the job.

Yeah the 14point7 has links to that too. I was referring to the Spartan 2 lambda controller. I think they add $50 for a new LSU 4.9 but you could get one from a junk yard if it's in good condition (they are very fragile). The open source one is cheaper but open source has its own challenges as well. You just want to make sure you match your specific sensor's range and calibrate it properly. 14point7.com will have both products listed 😉👍
