hey, a recommendation you should definitely do is lift the burner a bit off of the surface, so fresh oxygen can reach the fuel. the reason why your flames are so orange and "weak" despite having a chimney is because there is not enough air going in from the bottom. i can guarantee you that the stove will work much better with enough clearance for enough air

Good vid. I have a similar setup for brewing... It saves a lot of time and money not needing to exchange propane tanks. But only controlling fuel with a ball valve does poorly with efficient combustion. Furnaces, water heaters, NG stoves all have regulators... This isn't as much a concern with $ cost, but with cleanliness--it'll burn yellow and leave soot all over your pots/pans. A real mess! I know from experience, and am searching for a regulator.

I’ll install a regulator on my next install. Thanks for watching

You should not put the burner flat on the block, you should raise the burner so air can come in from underneath.

I think you have the wrong jet tips installed in there. I assume you're running natural gas. I think you have the propane tips. That's why no blue flame.

Thanks for the tip, but once the burner gets going flame gets blue

is there a way that you can achieve blue flame rather than yellow flame?
