I just watched Joe Henner's video on the installation of his advanced timing key. He said, "Once you put the fly wheel back and, before tightening the nut, you'll notice play on the flywheel form clockwise to counterclockwise. Hold it counterclockwise and then tighten the nut. If you don't, you are NOT advancing the timing." That means I have to take mine apart again 😭

Hey Dave, can you do a tutorial on chain adjustment for the Kayo???

Ive seen woodruff key with full body built shifted to the LH. Yours is just a notch. Grounded off. Doesn't that create problem with a millimeter of free space within the notch? Makes timing iff should it shift?

why not drain the oil 1st, then you could do the operation on the bike standing up.

Why waste the oil...hurts nothing to have your bike on its side.

I just did mine and I did drain the oil it helps, note I waited for my 20hr service. you would have to lay the bike down for a while if not, and less chance of shit falling into the case, I also used my impact on the 17mm nut to remove it way easier, also the dawl pins stay in place. I also wedged a screw driver into the gears so it didn't move, not sure why he said to line up timing marks but I did anyway the flywheel is directional only goes on one way !! It did make a big difference thank you joe henner for the key big difference dam thing tried to take flight was not expecting that big of change I also adjusted my butterfly on my intake wow.
