I don't have a beading tool. Until seeing this video today, I didn't know they even existed. Had to do mine by hand, which takes a while! It does tend to result in hairs not catching, so while it stays on, some hair hangs down over it and is a bit messy.

@csbluechip

So what brand of "loop tool" do you personally recommend? Where did you get the tiny special elastic bands? Where can I find a selection of "beads"? ...Amazon is mostly showing me cheap loop tools with "these break easily" reviews, black (not clear) bands, and (pretty much only) runestone beads ...I realise that "recommendations" is a fine line against "advertising". But, you've earned my trust, so, errr: HELP! (please)

Hi there, a little late to the release date of this video, but I guess my question shouldn't be outdated! :P I have grown quite the long beard by now and was happy for a long time, but know I would like to change some things up. That's what brought me here. I am very grateful for your Videos! =) Also, english isn't my first language, so please forgive me any typos and my bad grammar, as I will promise to do the best I can, typing out what I am trying to say. To my question: Is it OK to let the bear-beads in over night, including the hair-elastics, or would it be better to take them out and put them in every day? It looks very nice to me and gives a fitting accent, but if so, seems like a lot of work for every day, dependent on the amount of beads. Hope you all have a great day and take care of yourself. =)

I ordered a set of beads with the tool. The tool is plastic, and it's so thick that you CANNOT pull it through with enough hair to hold the beads! I kept trying until finally, predictably, the tool broke. I like the beads, so I'll keep the set, but the flossing tools for dental braces works much better.
