Another great video. When hurricane Harvey flooded my house, I started watching KZitem videos on repairing and remodeling. When I found your channel I used it exclusively. I learned so many good things, I even showed them to my general contractor for the work I was doing myself. He was impressed. I am starting a new home build in Spring, Texas. I have already given specific instructions to the builder for things he is to do based on your teachings. Next time I drive to New Orleans, I will see if we can meet. Thanks again for you teachings.

Great video. I've had similar problems in the past, but I ended up just using a scraper and kind of scraping away part of the drywall until it's flush with the door jamb, as I knew there weren't any studs behind it if I were to fully remove it. It's messy and annoying, but it works. From the side of course, you can sort of tell that the casing is thinner, but not really. You have to be told and/or get a tape measure out.

Thanks again my friend, you were added to the list for the contest. I first met JIM the president of EX Protexture a few years ago when I was renovating my mom‘s bathroom, before she passed away. JIM sent me an easy pro kit to try out and I loved it. I shot her whole bathroom with the gun and I’ve been using it since. When we first spoke, he asked me if I was a fire fighter and I told him yes in Louisiana, he was a fire fighter in California before he retired, so we hit it off. Been friends ever since.
