Love your instructional videos, however, like some of us, am waiting for your subframe drop tutorial cause I am having shaking issues at 20mph with both RC and Eibachs installed... so don't think your vids are useless or irrelevant... my other choice would be to bring it to a shop (yikes!) and pay through the nose... Keep up the good work!

You have the rough country kit and Eibach Springs STACKED? I was thinking of doing this. I have the ready lift kit and wanted to stacked the Eibach Springs with it as my tires are huge and it needs to be higher haha

Jeff, I am in need of your wisdom! Months of scouring information, and I finally settled on a simple "2 inch spacer kit." I got the kit and it's only 1.5"!!! (Torq Engingeering) Do you know if this is normal, and standard across the board? More directly related to YOUR car- the 2.5" Rough Country lift kit - is it truly 2.5" or is it 2"?

Do you have axle shaking issues with both kits installed? I had very bad shaking even just with the rough country, I switched to Eibachs but I am wondering if whenever you release the video on the subframe drop for the front if combining them would be viable ??

Question, do you know about a better shock absorbers ? I have the same eibach springs and the rav is a little stiff, is not that bad but I preffer that more soft, Thanks In advance

Sorry no I still use the OEM shock absorber. But there some aftermarket coilovers that can adjust to softer ride but it a little bit expensive

Nope I fix it I lowered the front subframe so the CV axle is straight so it won't cause the vibration

Thanks for the video but this is a really bad idea on these cars. The shafts angles and tie rods can’t handle this. Also, I bet your ride is much stiffer and will probably suffer a penalty not only from increase wind resistance but because of the angle of those shafts there’s going to be a lot more friction. This will also result in premature failure of these components.

I did a subframe drop front and rear like I said in the video so it won't angle to much on the CV axle and i won't recommend people doing this without a subframe drop right now yhe CV axle angle on the rav4 is pretty much straight

That’s don’t look like 4 inches lift kit and I checked on internet see any available if have a 4 inch lift kit for selling but all sell a markets Mosty sell is 2” and 2.5” only.

He combined two kits together, a 1.75" Eibach spring kit and a 2.5" Rough Country spacer, along with his custom sub-frame drop.

@@Samscherano oh because its combination of rough country 2.5 lift spacer and 1.7 eibach spring but I achieve this because I did a custom Subframe drop on the front so the CV axle won't angle too much

You need to upgrade your shocks pare... Those OEM shocks won't last long from the roads and trails you are driving on. You also need a torque wrench to get the OEM torque specs when tightening nuts and bolts.

Hi Again Jeff, your tires look all terrain but the tread does not look like they produce a lot of road noise. What kind and size tires you run and is there much tire noise like you hear on the real aggressive tires? Thank you for any info. Jack

Its Mud Tire and its 245/75r16 and for the noise its not that bad but when the tire tread becomes 50% its getting a little bit louder and I don't mind the noise anyway

Great video man. I was thinking about doing the same setup in the summer, you beat me to it lol.. Can you measure the ground clearance? Also what would be the biggest tire size you can install with this setup? One last thing, can you post a video testing it on highway? Check if there's any vibration or issues.. Thanks again

Well right now I'm at 30.5 inch tire so 33 inch tire is possible with light modification and for the Highway drive feel same thing and no vibration especially 20mph the CV axle is pretty much straight because of the subframe drop and sure I'll include that on a walk around video

@@RAV4Guides so my tire & wheel is 245/75r16 kenda klevar mud tire then MST time attack wheel 16x8 +20. For the lift well any brand of lift will have issue on the front especially vibration at 20mph but sometime some don't have that issue I guess lucky but anyway I won't recommend what brand of lift would you use. And for the 20mph vibration I fix that issue so I'm happy with my setup
